      Depends. The Nova 5T has better SoC (high end, although slightly older, it's the same SoC as Mate 20 and P30) and better camera. The Oppo Reno SoC is mid range so can't compare.

        I doubt you will see any significant performance difference between the two SoC, although the MTK P90 has faster GPU speed. The Reno Z also has bigger battery, bigger screen, headphone socket, Amoled display and stereo speakers.

          @wombat1955: Reviews definitely notice the P90 feeling slow in the interface and that the 980 is snappy, however gaming will be very close, as you mentioned.

          Kirin is a smaller process and is very efficient, so battery life will be similar.

          The Nova's screen looks very good, but the OLED in the Reno is still killer for that price.

    The card slot isn't that big a deal, but I agree the lack of 3.5mm is a pain in the ass.

    I ended up getting a Sony MUC-M2BT1 (I think that's right) as Bluetooth replacements and although the lack of wires is nice having to worry about battery isn't

  all my huawei phones seem to have batteries that go completely bezerk after about 2 years the worst having been the p9, so meh

      yeah i have an honour about that age, full stock and other than line, whatsapp and facebook, it will still randomly switch off. The P9 has become worse especially if i dare open the camera even when fully charged)
