    $1350 @ Costco: https://www.costco.com.au/Electronics/Mobile-Phones/iPhones/…

Sadly, you can no longer price beat membership-based stores: https://www.officeworks.com.au/information/policies/price-be…

    RIP OW.

Change OW PM policy makes Costco the a big winner and would thank OW as:

If a consumer buy one iPhone from Costco they will recover the membership cost plus get 30 days price match plus 90 days change of mind returns and fantastic after sales service unlike others once you open the box you dead in the water !

In addition, they also enjoy all other benefits of Costco membership including free life time balancing fore tires purchased at Costco and also the lowest fuel price all 7 days a week and don't to run empty until Tuesdays !

don’t think the argument from OW is if costco membership worth it , think it’s that random people can’t buy at costco price without a paid membership. it’s like OW factor in postage if price matching online store vs bricks and mortar walk in store with no delivery charges.

        utsc in Australia they’re
        Tyres!!!!!

        • Officeworks is more accessible with many stores. Costco is only convenient if you live near one of the few stores. Once you fight for a car space you have to deal with hordes of people with their huge shopping trolleys as they fight one another for free food samples and a spot in queue at the checkout.

          Not 100% of the time.
Costco definitely has its quiet day too. Just don't rush in at 10am Saturday when another 10k people are doing the same.

        • It isn’t that bad if you don’t go at peak times like lunchtime and weekends. The checkout people are extraordinarily good at their jobs and the queues move pretty quickly. Parking can be an issue but we went to Epping on Saturday and the parking and queues were pretty good. You don’t have to live near Costco but you do have to be prepared to drive to one. Closing the one in the city was annoying.

      • OW does not prime minister Gerry or Cc tyres.
They gave me 5% beat and 5x flybuys and a year of change of mind. So I send in the missus in a year…

Are 10% off Costco gift cards a thing? I'll miss price beating Costco @ OW and using 10% off gift cards.

If I were the owner of OW, I would establish a yearly subscription model. This approach would ensure a steady revenue stream, create long-term customers, and reward their loyalty with discounts and special offers.

Rather than backing down, I would confront Costco directly.

      • Isn’t one pass exactly that ?

        • No One Pass is free delivery + occasionally extra fly buy points. And that's it.

  • Perfect timing for the revolutionary new apple intelligence features.

"iOS 19 Apple Intelligence will now calculate how much time is left until the battery is fully charged."

    • Yeah, that's wild. Imagine thinking you have invented a revolutionary new idea.

      "Our best iPhone yet".
