I think it's time to pull the trigger. Thanks OP.

Postage $14.95! They send it via small letter $1 postage

  • don't you have the 512gb deal?

  • +3

I've been waiting for a 200gb microsd card from shopping express since 04/12

No tracking number, and eBay has been sending me emails saying to review the delivery (wtf?)

Everything I look at the order it says:

    Estimated delivery Friday 13 Dec 2019 - Monday 16 Dec 2019

1 ozber has confirmed to receiving their order in the comments.

I've raised a dispute with them and they have 3 days to respond

Mine arrived 2 days later than ebay advised delivery date. I also lodged ebay refund request, and SS responded asking me to wait a bit longer. Then next day it arrived in the mailbox. Unlike the samsung evo plus u3 256GB that I bought from them in the other deal, this card was mailed in normal letter envelope without tracking.

    • +2

Similar experience from one of their earlier deals. Card never arrived, and perhaps most disappointingly a clearly false Australia Post tracking number was provided by this seller.

Only positive was they did provide a refund.

    • It was slow for me as well but got delivered on the first day of the estimated window.

      Hi CodeXD

I'm Danilo CHAN from Shopping Square. if you did purchase a 200GB card from us and didn't receive it within estimated delivery time, you may PM me with order details. I will try to help.

      cheers

      • PM'ed

but also please respond to the eBay Dispute too

      • 256 u3 or u1?

        • +1

          256GB is U3

    • Ok so it's not just me.

Still waiting on my micro SD card as well from early December.

Getting really annoyed because I know it's likely a letter sized envelope and I've never had a package go missing before.

  • So just so I understand. EBAY PLUS free trial isn't free. They charge $49 at the end of the trial?

    • +3

From what I understand - the trial is totally free - they simply take your banking details at the start so it can go straight into direct debit or whatever at the end of the trial.
It’s up to you to cancel the subscription in the last few days of the trial so you won’t be charged.

      • +1

Or just cancel it immediately and keep subbed til the end of the trial period, as per most everything else that operates this way.

        • +1

          Cheers

    • +1

      Yes, as JUAN93 said.
i started trial on 4th nov, provided dd details and cancelled on ebay site on 11th nov and cancelled my dd at the same time.
My free trial still worked up to 4th dec, i purchased from ebay 5 times after cancelling and still was treated as plus member.
      cheers

These guys are crooks. Ordered from the last deal still hasn't arrived. Probably a fake tracking number like the batteries I ordered.

  • +3

I was looking forward to getting one for my new Switch. Reading the comments about the negative experience with the vendor has changed my mind. How disappointing.

    • Over 6000 positive feedback in the past 12 months at 98.8% positive, and you're letting a couple of negative comments here dissuade you from purchasing?

      🤔

      • A lot of sellers use fake feedbacks.. especially the ones selling cheap stuff from china.

There are a number of videos on youtube about this.

          Your point being?

  • The sandisk ultra fit 256gb is going for $45 at this ebay store. You will need ebay plus to obtain this price.

  • Super Fast, high capacity and highly useful drive!

  • -1

This works out to be $42.90 for the 128gb. You can buy that size from other stores on eBay for $30.00 with free postage. It's around the same price difference for the other sizes.

    • +1

      Did you read the title?

      • I missed the $10 off at checkout part. Still, a couple of dollars more than the ones I looked at, but pretty competitive.

        • Bought many from here always genuine your other store may not be.

          • @paulaus: I'm no expert on removable storage, but the few stores I looked at that were a little cheaper, never had any complaints about non genuine products that I could see. They also had much better feedback ratings.

            • @mox: Cheaper than 128GB for $17.95? Please share!

              • @CodeXD: Postage is $14.95. So it worked out to be $32.90 total, unless you were an eBay Plus member. There are a few stores selling the same card for $30.90 with free postage or there abouts. It's only a couple of dollars, so it's not really worth arguing about to be honest. If you've had a good experience buying from the store mentioned in this post, then go with them I guess.

  • Good price for the 128GB MicroSD. Can someone who bought them confirm that they are genuine?

    • +2

Bought many from ShoppingSquare. Never have any problems. I even took a SD card reader case full of them on a recent cruise. No problems at all. My D750 camera would fill up the 128GB card in a week lol and my Surface reports them as exactly as it said on the card. I returned home and have copied the photos over to my computer. Still 128GB.

Used to buy 64GB cards but now I never buy anything lower than 128GB. I just ordered 3 more.

      • Thanks!

I'd rather pay extra from a reputable store and be confident it isn't a counterfeit card. Too many of these Chinese sourced ones are knock-offs that don't achieve specifications..

    • +2

SHoppingSquare is excellent. I have bought over 20 cards from them for years without any problems. They may have chinese text on the packaging but the cards are definitely genuine. The disk size match. These are grey import.
Just as a bonus make sure you get the one that comes with the adapter.

    • -1

You'll be excused - on the basis that you've only just joined this month.
Before you start judging a book by its cover, perhaps you should look at the store's previous deals and reputation (e.g. this deal)
