  • No c9 ?

    • Wait till boxing day to see who's giving the best price. Most places have sold out so you're unlikely to get a massive discount or will be experiencing delivery delays. Would be checking JBhifi/bing/Harvey norman/djs/myer/goodguys on Xmas day and rushing out on boxing day morning to buy.

You've already missed the good sales. You won't get anything good boxing day, was all black friday.

Cheaper prices have been offered before Christmas for the past 4 years in Australia than Boxing Day. Boxing day is now a scam which consumers fall for every year.

No rush I will wait for c10

          • @CheapOjoe: So you'll wait another year for it to be a good price. Then you might as well wait for the C11…

          Rather broad statement

@hen dawg: Ok well black friday I got a 55" C9 for $1712 from JB.

Let's see on boxing day, bet they're $2200+.

Boxing day was good years and years ago. But trend has been for the past 4 years that retails charge more on boxing day than before Christmas. Makes sense too, consumers want to spend on boxing day.

            • @[Deactivated]: Let us convene in 6 days. I'm sure there is some truth to what you say but there's definitely Boxing Day deals.
I'm waiting for Sony X95G TV which had $0 Black Friday discounts but word is next week will be best prices since release in May

              • @hen dawg: What size are you looking for?

                • @SavingsAccelerator: 65inch x95G. Other models in the range were discounted on black Friday but not this one. Been told to expect $2,000 next week (hopefully less with eBay/negotiating)

              • @hen dawg: You're right, there are deals.. generally storage, mice, keyboards and things like that. Also your traditional things like turkeys, wrapping paper and Christmas decor. Coles usually has 70% off that stuff.

There will be TVs on sale too but generally the really really bad ones. I'm sure you'll find something like a $499 55" 4k tv no name brand/Hisense deal etc.

  • Just here for the B9 v C9 debate ;)

I'd seriously consider the Panasonic GZ1000U. In a side by side comparison, the picture quality of the GZ1000U trumps the B9. Have not seen the C9 side by side with the C9. The pana just screems value.

Read that as $1068 and nearly spat out my coffee - thanks brain.

Got our 65C9 delivered the other day from the recent Good Guys deal. Have set the XBox One X to Game mode / OLED 95 / Contrast 95 / Brightness 45/ Sharpness 50 / Colour 55 / White Balance Colour Temp Medium / Rest unchanged. Wow that's all I can say.

  • Note to brain …stop looking at OLED deals, wait until the 1080p dies.

  • Updated price is appealing, I regret not jumping on the $1492 deal last week. Boxing Day sales are usually a let down these days. Hmmm…

  • +1

Wow, they actually put the price back up for Boxing Day :/
