The produce code indicates that it's a standard gen 3 Chromecast not a Chromecast Ultra.

If you bought this product for $49 being told it was $99 by staff you will be entitled to a refund under ACL. Even if you have opened it.
If you just assumed it was rrp $99 you have no remedy except what they offer at their own discretion.

Indeed the standard version was never $99, the question then remains was it an incorrect assumption made by the op, or a misrepresentation made by the staff.
Maybe the item was hung in a hook that said "ultra".

sorry for the late reply.i i am not a jb hifi employee. I do work in retail but nothing related to electronics. I went in on my lunch break and saw this and posted it. The 99 was the price under the $49 price tag. i just finished work and saw all these comments so i apologise for the late response.
