Howcome ofteb modern phones they dont invlude charger

    • +13

      Greenwashing

    • +2

They're trying to be environmentally friendly.

    • +13

It's simple, they can claim they're being environmentally friendly whilst still charging you the same price, win, win, for them.

      • Nothing to do with green washing and phone company only has to produce 1 production line globally. This way, they can move stock around to any country around the globe.

    • +10

They get to claim they are environmentally friendly, charge you the same price while removing the $10 brick, and halve the height of the box, therefore fitting twice the amount in shipping containers.

    • +4

More profits. Don't believe the saving the planet crap

    • Why would asking a reasonable question be negged?

I have a Motorala 33W charger that came with my Edge 30, it's a decent charger imho.
But I just asked in the Edge 50 Fusion post if Motorola phones have stopped shipping with chargers too.

  • Pixel 9A under $600 by Christmas.

    • +1

At this rate under $600 by end of the month, considering it's EOFY, very likely.

      • +1

        That would be nice.

    • +1

You can get a near new from cashies around $650.00 , and I do mean near new 💯

  • +1

If you don't mind Gerry, go to Domayne and you will get 10% GC back @ $748.

    • +8

      Id rather not

    • +5

      We do mind Gerry

I am tired of being up sold for purely for phone storage when can 256gb models cost this price :(

Alternatively some way to add extra storage, surely it can't be that hard!

    • +2

yeah its crazy they are removing sd card slots now, first it was headphone jacks :(

      • SD cards have been gone for a while now. Last phone with an MicroSD card for me was an S20 FE and that was the last flagship Samsung to have a slot.

        • Motorola G series all have them.

  • Do you think OfficeWorks might price-match?

    • +1

They will, but not the bonus charger.

    • Not they won’t.

  • Argh..the FOMO dilemma..should I wait?!…it's almost below $700 lol

    • Should have waited if u didn't wait, there's an awesome cb offer via shopback

  • +1

If youse use price beat, think Shopback is invalidated. Currently 17% (cap $150) plus 10% (cap $50) if you have westpac.

    • I was wrong, cashback works on pricebeat

      • Are we sure bro?

      • It gets tracked but not sure if it'll get approved later.

        • Yup,same 18% for sb plus, also i have taken screenshots and will complain in accordance to acl as the wording clearly state the discount amounts instead of the whole cashback being invalidated

aren't you meant to put the price pre-cashback in the title, not the one post-cashback?

      • +6

        Yes…it should be pre cashback….cashback aren't guaranteed…

    • -2

10% westpac bonus cashback ends 5:59pm today. Just before the 12-17% boost at 6pm.

      • Nope,it doesn't

      • Westpac one says ends at 11:59pm on my app

    • +2

Wrong math,581$(as westpac is capped at 50$)

      • $556 with Price Beat

        • Price beat invalid

          • +2

@Alpha-q: Nope, will still get the cashback for $717

Any Price Beat discount amounts or promo code discount amounts that have been applied to the order

            • @ozzbargainer: Does this mean no cashback on the amount saved from pricebeat or does it mean any amount from price beat invalidates cashback (as some stores are like this).

            • +1

@ozzbargainer: So this basically means cashback will be calculated based on 717$(with westpac and sb offer inclusive)

              • @Alpha-q: I'm confused, so I can do price beat and get the cashback of 17%?

                • @DaTa: I doubt it will work. Clearly says cash back is ineligible if:

Any Price Beat discount amounts or promo code discount amounts that have been applied to the order

Even if it tracks, most likely get declined at the end.

                  • @TomGum: I think the price beat should be fine as it mentions price beat amounts, not price beat

                  • @TomGum: Yeah I don't think I'll risk it

    • Giftscard payment don't stack with Shop back cash back right?

      • Yes,in exclusions

    • Are people actually taking a gamble on cashback with big purchases? Is TGG cashback reliable given recently a lot of cashbacks are failing for many other retailers?

      • +3

For me, would only get try if I was really considering buying the big ticket item anyways.

      • +1

Got my $65 cashback for a $1,300 purchase from TGG recently

    • +3

Time for Samsung to bring s25 under $600

      • +1

        They will.

        In two years.

      • That's ridiculous. Current year flagships should not be priced under $500.

        • Not when they have tradein deals with vouchers

    • +1

That's amazing value with the cashback offer!

    • I can't seem to be able to buy this one.
Shopback keeps saying that I kust purchase on TGG website, which I was. After several attempts I'm just giving up.
But this seems like a great deal.
Also shopback shows me 12% and not 17%

      • +3

        17% starts at 6pm.

    • +1

Never any deals on the 256gb.

      Although I don't know if 8gb ram is enough…

      • +1

Agree, 8/128 is just not future proof for the next 3 years. especially without sd card.
        12/256 is the minimum requirement.
I am waiting for Samsung s25 to drop price to around $650. maybe black Friday this year

        • Get 2TB google one from Turkey for about $80 per year, share it with 4 people within your family. Then Im not concern buying base 128gb storage anymore, it works out cheaper and easier when transferring data as well.

          • @yummypinacolada: Nah, Android system and apps has already taken 90GB of internal storage of my phone at the moment.
All my photos videos and music are on SD card.

128GB is just not enough for the next 3 years. Apps and OS will go bigger and bigger.

    • Store name in title, please.

    • 17% cashback will only be available after 6pm today, right?

      • +1

        Yes AET.

    • How does the westpac cashback work?

    • +1

Anyone else having issues with this when you put your Credit card details in….come up with some oops message

      • Works for me!

      • I'm facing the same issue here

    • Didn't work on the android but tried the iPad and it went through…

    • You won't get cashback on:
Vouchers or Promo codes not featured on our platform

I'm afraid that using the promo of adding the Motorola adapter will remove my cashback for the entire purchase. What do you guys think?

      • +1

Didn't for me. Mine has tracked ok with the charger

        • Nice, thanks for sharing it

        • dam it i left the charger off to avoid missing out.

    • At what point during the order do you see that the ShopBack 17% cashback will be applied. I have stepped through the order process and entered my Westpac credit card (now linked to ShopBack) and am the point just before I confirm the order but don't see any indicator about the ShopBack cash back. I have not used ShopBack before.

      • +1

If you're using the app it'll be at the bottom of the page (you can click on various icons that will show you). Make sure you have registered tour Westpac card in your shopback account

        • I'm now using the app on my phone and at the final step before enter my Westpac credit card details and I see at the top of the screen in green it says "Cashback Activated". I assume that is what you are referring to?

      • I'm only seeing .45% cashback for phones

    • Did anyone place an order with price beat and it tracked fine? Thanks.

      • +1

        Yeah worked for me

      • +1

tracked fine for me. @BuyNow Think Later OP you bloody legend
