  • Does dual sim mean 2 physical sim slots?

    • +1

      Dual SIM (Nano + eSIM)

      • No sd card?

        • +9

sd card has been gone for a decade on Samsung flagship

          • +2

@jedimaster: but yet you can get it on there budget phones lol. you would think paying the premium you would get sd card slots as an option.

            • @kungfuman: apple never had them as people used slow sd cards so they thought it would slow down their phones. Samsung also followed suit and did the same to prevent bad publicity for their flagship if the user uses a slow sd card

              • +1

@jedimaster: or they could have just banned all other sd cards except samsung ones that way they can ensure a certain speed of sd card goes in there phones.

                • @kungfuman: ^^^This^^^ Most big companies and corporations often have sneaky logical Excuses And Reasons

why they have to change and evolve, often at the users cost as well as better ways to keep an

Eye on us all (taking silver foil hat off now lol).

                  • +1

@ozhunter68: i would prefer a sdcard too but seems like not gonna happen. This way they sell expensive higher storage phones easily

                • @kungfuman: Not all Samsung microSD cards are fast. Also even the best microSD cards aren’t as good as phone’s nand.

I guess they could do a read/write test when you insert and inform you that if your MicroSD is good, excellent or subpar. I don’t think a soft lock with some microSD cards is a good idea.

          • +2

@jedimaster: My S20+ had it, so maybe a half decade.

  • +4

    That’s cheap

  • What is the refresh rate

    • +4

      120Hz

  • +1

    S24’s like 749$ for 256 GB.

    • +26

Using math that's almost double the price.

      • +6

        big if true

      • +1

Also double the storage, but your point stands.

  • +1

    No 256GB 😫

    • +5

If only it had an sd slot

  • +6

Great price for a flagship phone from 2 years ago

  • +11

Brilliant price for a great phone that still stands up in 2025.

    • +5

Yes 8 gen 2 , flagship level screen and cameras , this is a steal at this price

    • +13

Still using S20 FE with a new battery that stands up in 2025. Never found the need to upgrade every 2 or 3 years. It's just hype. But this is a great deal.

      • +4

Still using my s20 fe and loving it in 2025

      • +4

3900mAh new battery: apply battery-longevity practice & it should last 5+ years.

Android15 & later is likely to use MORE-battery compare to earlier-versions…Samsung-One-UI bloatware also.

      • +5

I use the s10. Its awesome 👌 no need for these ultras and marketting gimmics with less storage and nil expandable memories.

        • +1

I still have the S10 as well!

Really see no need to upgrade. Camera is fine, original battery is fine, screen is fine, performance has never let me down etc.

My next phone MUST be another S series.

      • +3

S10e still going strong here. I can't imagine not having the extra button to assign to stop/play/flashlight.

        • +3

I still have my s10e as a backup and can't believe how well it's held up. had to use it last week and still fast enough to be used for regular phone/browsing/YT

      • did you replace it yourself or pay someone? if the former, was it hard? and what was the cost?

        • +3

I did it myself, bought this battery & watched an instructional video on youtube. It's pretty easy if you're handy.
Only been a few weeks but the battery seems pretty good.

          • +2

@WatchNerd: pretty good for 17 bucks. I have done a few batteries and screens, it's always pot luck how hard or easy it is on any phone. Should be built in the design.

            • +1

@Jackson: Around $19 delivered with taxes added, still cheap if decent battery. Time will tell?

      • +4

I still have my S21+ from 2021 that's working well. Battery may be due for a change if I want max performance but otherwise working well still in 2025!

        • +1

          S21+ represent!

      • +1

Another S10 user here with no complaints.

        These phones last.

    • +1

S10 Plus user here. Still happy with it.

  • +2

Thanks OP, can't be stuffed going through all the trade in bonus, samsung codes and stuff so this is perfect.

  • +1

Good enough for average people. Good price too.

  • +1

    What's the charging speed? 25w or 30w?

  • -2

    Better than G75?

  • +7
    • +6

      Infinite money glitch?

      • +6

put the shipping address to webuy, easy hack

  • +3

Will be updated to android 17 from what I've just read , in case you pagans wanted to know.

  • +3

currenrly using a s23 128gb model purchased second hand 12 months ago for $450

its a good price, if you are after a smaller in hand phone that still has great specs

did update to OneUI7 only a week or so ago, and goes fine. looks a little different but is fine

    • Have all the AI features with UI7?

      • +1

        havent really checked or cared

about the only feature i do use
(which might have been in OneUI6)

is the hold / circle to search , i find it useful on sites that wont let you copy and paste text

      • Yes

  • +3

    Good deal.

Something to be mindful of is the difference between the 128GB and 256GB models: https://www.phonearena.com/reviews/Samsung-Galaxy-S23-review…

"128 GB model comes with slower storage and RAM"

    • +6

Ufs 3.1 is still plenty fast, almost all midrangers still come with 2.2 in 2025 , like nothing phone 3a

  • Any comments on battery life? I've read a few posts online suggesting that it isn't the best.

    • +1

3900mAh is weak but can be overcome by LOW-end users with good battery longevity practices. Install AccuBattery APP to monitor battery-health.

    • Not great but not bad. All about SOT - generally top it up about 6pm

  • -7

only 2 more years of update, in that case it doesn't really worth $400…
The S25 was around $630 earlier this year, it comes with 7 years of updates.

    • Just the hardware is worth the money. There are plenty of ways to change the OS.

For a mainstream phone, there are a lot of secure 3rd party developments as well on a clean OS

  • Crazy…..

  • I get a checkout price of $748.83 - $334.99 = $413.84. What am I doing wrong?

    • +2

      It should be $733.99 - $334.99 = $399

Are they charging you delivery or did you select insurance?

      • Sorry, had another item in my cart. All good, thanks.

  • +5

I wish the Pixel 8 was this price.

  • +3

Return the unopened Motorola Moto G75 for this???

    • +5

      Yes

    • +4

      100%

      • I've been converted, thank you all ;)

    • +1

no if you prefer bigger screen

    • yes

  • "Unfortunately, this code no longer works."

    • Same! Not working for me either :(

    • thanks, I thought it was because I don't have ebay Plus. Almost signed up now

  • +1

would have grabbed this as a backup phone if I had seen it in time.

    • Just curious - why would someone need a backup phone? And how often would you actually use it?

      • +2

Depends, I pretty often use my backup as a travel hotspot. Esim is always a charm to get travel simcards.

      • +1

In case something happens to your primary phone.

For example someone might accidentally drop their phone and the screen shatters or the digitiser breaks rendering it unusable. They would still need something to use in the meantime while they wait for repairs or shop around for a new device.

        • Fair enough, I guess my plan if that happened was to go buy a cheap $50 phone to use until my replacement/repair.

          • @dojomojo: Yeah, I keep my old phone that has a broken screen as a backup. I wouldn't pay $400 for a phone I will maybe use for a few weeks in the coming years.

      • +1

I have a family so there are a number of primary phones. For any reason a backup phone may be required.

  • -1

    Headphone jack?

  • Shame i missed this. Will need to stick with my G75 when it arrives

  • +1

    Damn too slow
    Good price

  • Missed it

  • +1

great 3x camera on this unit, great size, what a deal!

  • +1

Using it right now. At this price, I'd consider getting a second one for when this one dies.

  • +1

Hopefully another deal comes up similar price

  • My $299 s22 from last Amaysim deal just received Android 15 update.

  • Hmmm. Mine seems faulty. 0-100% with a 65w PD charger. Going to contact support.
