How does a mesh "Works with Amazon Alexa" Hey Alexa, turn off my mesh? Seems silly.

I imagine it's similar to Orbi's integration with Google home: https://kb.netgear.com/000052296/Which-Google-Assistant-comm...

      Edit: for the lazy:

"Ok Google, turn on the guest network.
Ok Google, turn off the guest network.
      Ok Google, reboot the router.
Ok Google, what are my WiFi settings?
Ok Google, what is my guest network password?"

Ok Google, tell me which neighbours have been using my wifi?

  • Perhaps they mean the surveillance on you by Amazon Alexa combines with the surveillance on you by the Tenda Mesh system.

    • What about Google, Facebook, Microsoft, your ISP, mobile phone and so on?

Looks like the 3-pack has reverted to $129… expired/OOS?

    PS - I've been using a 3-pack @ $89 from a previous deal - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/462607 - definitely recommend this simple and cheap dual-band mesh network.

For me, the primary node is connected to a TP-Link MR600 (CAT6) with Optus 4G data sim on the 2nd/top level of the property, secondary node on 1st/ground level (3-4m vertically below), and daisy-chain another node to the underground garage (5-10m below). Although the MW3 is capped at 100Mbps, my network/data-sim only reaches 45Mbps/10Mbps (can't get NBN yet, but not bad) and there's very minimal bandwidth loss (<5%).

  • Does anyone happen to know if this supports PPOE and nbn fibre to the curb?

I’ve got and old router plugged in atm and looking at upgrading but I also have FlipTV which requires a login grrr.
