      • Buddy did you read the thread?

Neg for terrible Rep. This store is in my blacklist from now on.

    • Couldn't agree more!

  • +4

I thought the rep was funny.

  • +3

Commented for neg vote, has said in the past he isn't here to sell to 'ozbargainers', why is he here then?

  • +3

Negged due to terrible attitude from store rep on this and previous deals.
Why anybody would want to give their business to this guy after reading his posts is beyond me.

  • +2

    Haha, just reading the comments.
I once walked in to their shop and was having a look around, and no one even lifted their head to say hi.

  • Attitude is altitude…

Must be dead in your store to focus your energy on trolling the very people you want to sell to on Ozbargain, 3 hrs before close on Christmas Eve Atish M.

Let me give an idea of the environment you're dealing with here.

For starters, you're right, almost every single person who comes in here - they're coming to watch the drama unfold and have no intention of buying. You explained that poorly, though - gave them an angle.

Regardless, you can't say that to them, though - they won't accept it.

Secondly, this all started from a very poor sentence from yourself. I am an internet geriatric and immediately saw your error. All you needed to do was correct yourself and say "I meant that you'll get over the price because it is a good product". Situation cleared.

Instead, you break the cardinal rule on here - don't feed the people who comment. They love to get raged up about stuff and neg the crap out of someone if they fire back.

Now, it's up to you - but these are the unspoken rules of ozbargain comments (and the often, the internet in general). I am breaking them for even pointing this out because there are a ton of people who are so deluded about what they are doing (ripping through semantics to find anything to attack a rep for), that they will not like reading what I'm saying. They won't accept that they aren't being civil either.

If you want to sell and have a good rep on here, you sometimes need to eat their crap. If you want to get a crap reputation that might spread further than here, keep firing back. I know a fella on here who sells regularly and every now and again, someone takes a potshot at him and tries to start something - he knows the rules though, so whenever that happens, he defuses it with civility and he continues to do well because of it.

Nobody said this was a fair place, it isn't. It's the internet and a lot of people like to take their frustrations out on the internet - whilst being completely civil in real life. I can tell you're the type of guy who doesn't understand that and just responds in kind. You can't on here.

I'm sure you're a much nicer fellow when you understand the way the internet works.

      • Thank you kindly, you have summed up the situation almost perfectly and I am not being sarcastic.

I have ozbarginers who ring me and visit me instore and spend and spend big and some who have never bought but ask for information, I am clearly not talking about these people . They are the ozbers I post for and most understand my position and my dry sense of humour.

I do understand how the internet works. Just hoping for a paradigm shift

This is it. Listen to the advice above and you'll be fine, even going forward. It's not too late to repair and build a good reputation despite the rough history

  • Nice troll

I'm surprised the store rep hasn't been banned from ozbargain. Doesn't want to sell to ozbargainers but still post in ozbargain…nice meme

  • How do these compare to the 900 series? In the past they sold for around $1300, it's a struggle to justify the difference.

    • not much of a difference, just slight design changes. If you want to see a noticeable difference perhaps jump to the r series

This store has a bit of a bad rep.

  • +4

These are awesome speakers and a very good price. I normally deal with Paul (the owner ) who is really good only if you can get hold of him. The other staff doesn't tend to return calls etc. I'm still waiting for a call back for an item I was interested in and no one has called me - 4 weeks and counting. if you cant match the price at least call and say no, as other stores do and btw Atish, ozbargainers do buy, but not all comment, they vote with their money!

    • +1

I know who you are mate, and I do not consider you or the others you are talking about as the oz-bargainers that I am referring to.

You are a good customer and are welcome back anytime. Also the person who did not get back to you for 4 weeks has been reprimanded.

Store rep seems to be a bit of a jerk.

I recently bought a Pioneer NC-50D Receiver from this company over the 'phone and the store Rep (Atish) was helpful in recommending this product over an "Amplifier only" I was considering. Not only that, the price including delivery was so much better than anyone else it was a no brainer.
I subsequently had to ring him recently to ask a technical question and his reply was succinct and courteous.I would buy from them again in a heart beat…..so there you go.

    • Thanks mate… legend.

If you need anything else please let me know.

  • Hi rep.
What amp should I use for these, only really need a stereo setup, sub out would be nice, Bluetooth wifi and optical connections. Used for music and movies. Was looking at the Yamaha r-n803? Budget up to 2k.
