Actually 100hz according to the Philips product page (https://www.philips.co.uk/c-p/349P7FUBEB_00/brilliance-curveā€¦)
    Not too shabby.
Downsides are it's a VA panel and no VESA mount.

    • It's VESA 100x100 according to the link you posted.

  • Oh? Couldn't be bothered reading the whole page but did a Cntl+F for 'vesa' and didn't find anything.

    • because you didn't click "Show all Technical Specifications" button below.
      It's VESA 100mm x 100mm

      • Yeah I already worked that one out.

  • How is this compared to x34p?

    • +1

Besides the fact that this has a slightly lower refresh rate, the X34P uses an IPS panel so the colours will look A LOT nicer compared to the VA.

      • I see. Thanks.

    • This is VA panel, it feels like there's a net on top, I can clearly see the pixel blocks which is very distracting IMO. Major plus point is the USB-C hub with 65W PD so can act as a USB-C dock which is extremely convenient if you have a laptop that can charge through USB-C.

  • Tiny line in the specs confirm it's Freesync compatible.

If you're not interested in the Kogan 34" model that's almost identical (I have one - it's great), this seems the next cheapest ultrawide to get below $1k.

  • Does not seem to have HDR…other specs look promising

    • HDR in PC is irrelevant.

      • Console gaming? I play a mix of PS4 Pro and PC games, tempting to buy this one…

        • +2

The brightness level in monitor is nowhere near the required level for actual HDR anyway, moot point

          • @djmm: In this particular monitor, not all monitors.
