If you add a couple of gigabit or higher network cards it could make an interesting router …

Bought a Dell Optiplex 990 last night for $99 on eBay, looks like same specs, seller still had 8 left. Minus the wifi adapter, might be a better deal for some.

This exact spec was sold for under $100 a couple of years ago. Im surprised at the end of 2019 price have gone up?!

Such a decent PC for the olds more than sufficient for most people's needs.

Can I use it with TV via HDMI???

    • You’ll need a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter as these have 1x DP and 1 x VGA port

Expensive, was cheaper many years ago, Sorry bad deal

  • Had a quick look at the feedback of this ebay seller… no thank you…

  • For extra few bucks you can get the same pc with 8gb of ram 500gb of hdd at KNN computers on ebay. Just pick up a wifi adapter AC1200 for under $15. Way better deal!

Where would you find a WiFi adapter ac1200 for $15??

      Is it fake?

This might be ok for light internet browsing, if you don't open more than 1 tab at a time.

No SSD boot drive? In this day and age, and with a 120 GB WD Green to be had for under $30, not installing one for the boot drive / OS is almost unforgivable, considering the bang for buck performance it gives a PC.
