I would research the product before you buy it. I got an older Dgtec PVR and the software is extremely buggy.
This applies to a lot of different brand PVR's going back a few years ago. In our experience they've come a long way even in the last year as far as firmware stability.
This is the flagship model and from our tests here is as good, if not better, than other similar models such Strong, Olin, Soniq etc that are sold in most major retail outlets.
might be alright as a spare in the bedroom but those similar models are low budget range also.
So it's no topfield? I have a teac twin tuner pvr and it has some annoying bugs that I am learning to work around. I noticed that aldi have a twin hd tuner pvr for $179 starting on the 18th could be worth a try with their return policy.
$199 would be the right price for that brand.
How long is the special on for?
