These are handy especially behind the TV (surge protector is basic 900j, but enough for metro areas.

We also have one in the camping box as it's a fairly solid unit

I just put in an order for two.

      edit.
Longer delivery time, if you don't mind waiting a month or two.

      • For anybody who put in an order with a wait time of 1-2 months:

        Previous estimated arrival date: 26/01/2020 - 27/02/2020
        New estimated arrival date: 16/01/2020 - 17/01/2020

I just received an email confirmation that it should dispatch this week.

        :)

    • nope

    • I just did an order.

Amazon link now goes to another seller charging $57.

    • That's for 2-3 day dispatch. Look to the right under 'Other Sellers on Amazon' and they are still available for $20.00, but with the longer delivery time.

    • You can still select Amazon, and it's still $20 - but delivery won't be for a few weeks.

  • I would not put anything expensive like a computer or main/big TV on this, i'd want closer to 1500+ protection. In a perfect world this would sacrifice itself to protect your devices but something to consider. At $20 its decent value i nabbed one but i would not pay more than this.

What board do you use and how much is it?

      • I have a mix of Belkin and Arista's mostly, all bought years ago though. My Belkins at the time of purchase were higher rated ones for A/V, comparable to their Pro series now i guess.

  • Thanks OP

  • Shows up as $15 for me at checkout.

You might have promotional credit from something

    Still available.

    • Can't add to cart no more

    • Not now. I added to cart, then cart refreshed as it was no longer available from the seller. I click on your links again and it shows up but won’t let me add to cart - “Failed to add item to cart. Amazon encountered a problem. Try again later.”

    • We're sorry. This item is no longer available from the seller you selected. We'll move it to the Saved Items section of your Shopping Cart. From there, you can click the item to return to its product information page and try another seller.

Wow. So much room and they haven't given extra space to any plugs. Doesn't anyone think when designing these things?

    • +1

All of them are like divide by 2 with the Fat oversized adapters that need to be plugged in lol .

  • Thanks. Four on the way.

  • gone …
    cant go to cart

Is this the same product? For those who missed out? $4.47 if you click and collect at Target

    Total price ($24.47)

    • +1

You could price beat that at Officeworks - they have them for $69.95! Most Officeworks seem to be open today

    • Also available at Bunnings for a better price beat of 10%.

    • Cheers got 2 for $28.95 delivered. I didn't even realise that I have $20 store credit. :D

  • I need a board that can handle my microwave and toaster at the same time. All the ones I find are max 2400w and cut out when I use both. Will these handle more than that?

    • You'll never know unfortunately - sold out so quick!

      • Ta, but others have linked similar ones or slightly more expensive for the same model which I'd consider if they would work.

    • +1

It’s possible it’s related to your physical breaker.

      • The house's circuit breakers aren't affected. Just the power board the units are on get tripped.

Works fine when I use a 2 way splitter. But for some reason, boards are maxed out at 2400w

        • +1

Boards are maxed to 2400W because each power outlet is only rated to 10A/~2400W. The board trips because it’s a built in safety feature. A lot of cheap splitters don’t have this safety feature.

          • @Akya: Strange that they both work together when I don't use a board then.
Oh well, thanks for the info.

        • +1

          AS/NZS 3112 is the reason.

  • Ordered, Thanks OP!

  • +2

Have this, I find the middle points seem a bit loose. Also has somewhat average/poor spacing between each so I don't recommend for a tv setup if you have any block plugs

    • Any issues with the USB charging?

      • Nope, works flawlessly and is quite tight.

        • -1

So it doesn't charge slower than through power adapters?

          • @ChillBro: Edit: Nope, both ports are 2.4 amp each, so fully set for current hardware

  • +1

Arrived. And What a waste, shape so big but not much space between plugs… Just stupid design.
