  • Thanks No Booking fee

    • did you have to become a member at ticketmaster because when I click on it says $25?

  • Thanks grabbed some tix for a family outing

  • thanks.
    grabbed 3

  • +2

    Don't forget $0.20 cashback.

  • Wonder how the tix are free, when I did a search on the site it comes up as normal price

    • Interesting pickup I actually did forget cashback when making my comment.

  • Thanks!

Are there any free tickets for the Quarter Finals, Semi Finals and the Finals in Sydney?

  • +1

Got some tix for Aus v Germany tomorrow night at Pat Rafter Arena. Going to be awesome!

  • +1

this is a crazy deal! I looked at these tickets yesterday and they were so expensive!!!

    • +2

It'd be going close to deal of the year so far. If you got 10 tickets.

      • I agree, the tickets I got were supposed to be $175 each!!!

      • +1

I got 4 for Sat and Sun then 2 for Tues and Wed. This is so awesome esp after Xmas

  • It seems to good to be true for all of them to be free given the actual price of over $100. If I secure a ticket will it get accepted at the gates?

    • +2

Not everyone sits on Ozbargain. Trust me. I know people that have paid good money.

They don't check to see how much you paid for each ticket. They don't even check the children's tickets. As long as they scan that's all they care about

  • +1

I don't know how this only has 30 votes at the moment. Should be at least 300 after 12 hours. Not many tennis fans on Ozbargain I guess.

    • Probably to do with the title, if they had of put save up to $175 per ticket it would have taken off like a rocket

  • Thanks, OP. I got 2 tickets for Germany Vs Greece at Pat Rafter Arena on Sunday.

On the ticket, it says "Ticket includes travel on QLD Rail and BT bus services".

Does anyone know how to access the free public transport? Do you show the ticket at the train station counter/bus driver?

    • +1

Just show your ticket to the bus driver or to the person at the train station gates

      • Thanks!!!

      • +1

Pub transport is free for most if not all sporting events in Brissy

  • +1

Is this a mistake? And they likely to get cancelled tomorrow?

    • +1

Not a mistake. Ticket sales have been very poor, and they want crowds

      • So satisfying to hear

  • Thanks OP

    Ordered tickets to 7 matches

Can't wait to see some of the games

  • Ticketmaster appears to have caught on and stopped selling tickets now, managed to grab some before that happened. Hopefully, the tickets are still valid! Can anyone attending tomorrow's games please let us know? Thanks!

    • I managed to snag Belgium VS Bulgaria! I think it's still going

      • +2

        Yep, still working.

        • Yeah still working for plenty of matches in Bris

      • +1

Yes, it now seems to be working again

    • Friend got in tonight and I have some for tomorrow. I think the allocation for freebies were probably exhausted.

  • just wondering, what section/row is the best free seat? also what does restricted view mean?

  • does anyone know where OP got this link from? because if you go into the website using the standard url the tix are normal prices

    • is anyone getting errors? i got to the $0 part and then later it says

"We couldn't find you a ticket
Please select another listing, or adjust your criteria and try again"

also, anyone know if you can bring foods drinks and backpack in?

      • +2

You can bring food as long as it doesn’t have any corporate branding i.e a McDonald’s bag

        • thanks

      • change the number of tickets..i went from 4 to 2 and it worked

        • thanks

    • +3

I'm not sure, but this is not uncommon to see for events where ticket sales are a bit slow. They aren't going to publicise the link though as that would be a bad look

  • +3

Did anyone from this morning's 10 am sessions manage to get in?

    • +4

Yeah, my mate got into Brisbane this morning no problem

      • Thanks for letting us know, managed to get in no problem as well in Sydney

  • Any link for the Perth matches?

  • +1

Is there any way to know which players are playing for specific sessions? Only interested if the top players are playing to be honest.

    Nevertheless good deal, thanks OP.

    • Would like to know this too, I want to see Kyrgios and Tsitsipas :)

    • +7

      All matches are detailed here
      https://www.atpcup.com/schedule

      • Thank you

      • Awesome thanks dandealsau.

How exactly does this work… for example Greece V Aus it says Singles 2 starts at 5.30 PM and Singles 1 starts at 7:00 PM - does that mean there are different courts that they play on or is one game directly after the other? With these tickets can you watch both games?

        • +2

Each session has three matches you can watch. It's all on the same court and happens consecutively. Singles 2 is a match between the 2nd best ranked players from each team. Then Singles 1 is between the best ranked players from each team. The final match is a doubles match where each team captain selects the players.

          • @DuckKnight: Thanks so much. Would you know if the first group could be skipped and I just turn up for the second group at 7pm? The ticket is for 5:30pm today?

            • +1

@min2: The ticket will be for that session which includes the two singles matches and the doubles. The first match starts at 5.30pm but you can of course get there late. The unknown in tennis is the first match could go for 50 mins or it could go for 3 hours. They normally have 10-15 mins between the matches.

The 7pm time is a "not before" time which means if the first match is over really quick they will hold up the second match until 7pm. They do this for television.

  • Thank you JSO, this is an awesome find, just booked a few night matches

    • No problemo

  • +1

is "Ken Rosewall Arena - Sydney Olympic Park, NSW" the same as "Sydney Olympic Park Tennis World"?

when i search for direction to "Ken Rosewall Arena - Sydney Olympic Park, NSW" it keeps giving directions to "Sydney Olympic Park Tennis World"

    • Yep, same place.

Ken Rosewall arena is the Centre Court. The outside courts are what is considered Tennis World and are courts available for hire outside of tournaments.

      • @fersea

        Thanks

  • +3

  • +2

Thanks OP saw the Djokovic v Anderson match last night!

  • +2

I've been a couple of times, I don't think this post got the proper recognition it deserved!! Thanks jso!

  • Thanks OP.

I managed to get 7 tickets for the Sydney arvo events.

It wouldn't load the next screen if I selected 8

  • I think the dream is over now. Just been looking and it's coming up with a cost. Can anyone else confirm?

    • +1

Couldn’t find any free tickets either. Deal finished?

      • Just found some free tickets for today's day session, but beyond these matches they all have a cost associated to it.

  • +1

Thanks OP! Lots of family fun has been had at the tennis thanks to you so far

  • Does anybody know if one could pick any of the 3 groups within the session the attend? For example at the Brisbane session tonight 5:30, can I skip 5:30pm and start at 7pm when Jokovic is scheduled on?

    • +1

You can turn up whenever you want. You miss out on the atmosphere though. Soak it up! ;)
