  • More expensive than the last time, but was waiting for these to pop up again….

    • +2

Friend, the first one Truengine SE is a new arrival and it is the first time to join the promotion. For the other models, the lowest price is at Black Friday and Prime Day, twice a year.

      • +1

        Edit; i was wrong.
You had the truengine 2 cheaper before, not the se.
        My mistake.

Those (SE) were what i wanted too… no chance to get them to $45 for us Ozbargainers?

Bomaker SiFi vs Soundpeats Truengine SE.

Bomaker get better battery life, fully waterproof, and much the same price with their 10off promo code.

Also while reviews (mainly gamesky) say the soundpeats sound slightly better, the mic test is woeful; bomaker is MUCH louder.

On the plus side; the only reason i hadnt made my mind up yet was my nbn dropped this morning.

For once an outage does something useful :p

        Decisions…

I assume none of them supports multipoints?

Anyone else get random cards in their orders that look like some sort of email scam?

    Saying stuff like:
    * get 30% off your next order by registering at [email protected]
    * claim a $10 amazon card by emailing [email protected]

Email addresses may or may not be accurate

    • Yeah I ignored them

    • +1

If it asks me to "leave 5 stars" i always give them 1 star in 'communication', because they sent me junk mail with my order.

Im a vindictive (profanity) toward 'begging' sales tactics.

If its just a 'thank you' card, thats fine.

      dear. please pm me

  • So I am confused -are the reviews real….or different product they are rating? The below is mentioned a few times in relation to a lid, but the image, etc has a lid?
oundPEATS New Arrival Truengine SE Dual Dynamic Drivers Wireless Earbuds
The only negative I would highlight is the fact that there is no lid on the earphone case, however the earphones have magnets which lock them into the case, and I haven't had any issue with them falling out of the case yet.

    • They are talking about there is no groove where the two parts of the case join so you can easily get your finger/fingernails under it and open the case. However the case itself is magnified so you can turn it upside down, shake it etc. without the lid opening.

      • Or not…. I just looked at my pair and yeah. The earbuds themselves are actually held in place by magnets so you can have the lid open and they still don’t fall out. No clue. Maybe they got one with a broken lid.

    • I would think they have reviewed a different model. I have a pair of Soundpeats, not sure of the model number, but the case has no cover and as the reviewer mentions they don't fall out

    • I think they reused the same listing, and 'updated' the product.

Does amazon have listing fees they may be dodging?

Either way, plenty of real reviews on these out there.

  • Any discount on https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07S9XVTBH ?
    Thanks.

  • When you will have the second version of the truengine selling in Australia?

    https://soundpeats-truengine-2.kickoffpages.com/

    • +1

I am sorry, dear, this model doesn't sell on Amazon.au now, it will on sale in the near future.
The new model Truengine SE is also a good choice

    (1) [SoundPEATS New Arrival Truengine SE Dual Dynamic Drivers Wireless Earbuds, Bluetooth 5.0 with Dual Crossovers, APTX Audio CVC Noise Cancellation, total about 27 Hours Playtime]

10% off is peanut. Might pull the trigger if 25% off?

    • +2

      Agree.

I will buy Truengine SE instead of Bomaker SiFi, if they can sweeten the deal.

Otherwise bomaker is cheaper, better battery life, lighter, fully waterproof and subjectively better sound.

    • On the same boat. Come on OP. Just.Do.It

      • I posted reviews above; unless you're a bass head, the bomaker might be better.

That reviewer is a real audiophile guy on headfi, so no doubt he likes 'clairty' over 'warmth'; but its a pretty in depth review.

  • OP - Any discount on this one?

SoundPEATS Truengine SE Dual Dynamic Drivers Wireless Earbuds, Bluetooth 5.0 Headphones with Dual Crossovers, APTX Audio CVC Noise Cancellation Built in Mic, in-Ear Earphones with Charging Case, 27 Hours Playtime

    https://www.amazon.com.au/SoundPEATS-Truengine-Headphones-Cr…

    • They were on the original post, down to $51 ish.
I grabbed a pair, they are fairly good, reviews vary, they're not perfect but for a larger IEM stay in my ears better than many of the smaller ones…
