[NSW] Estilo Makeup Mirror w/ Motion Sensor LED and Rechargeable $5 @ Bunnings

560

Went powerboard and wireless charging dock hunting today at Bunnings.

Spotted this LED Make Up mirror
- motion sensor led
- rechargeable and power cable provided
- 5x detachable mirror
- adjustable mirror

$7.50 on the box. $5 scanned.
Went back in and grabbed 4 at that price.

2.5 Boxes left at Smithfield Bunnings NSW

I bloody purchased a $100 one from Costco a year ago. Wife loves it, has all the features above. Slightly bigger and better design but at $95 more…………
If this one is even close to as good. I hope Costco’s old return policy is still intact!

  • Surprised stock is still around. They were $10 in July 2019 which was already insanely cheap

  • By chance do you have the product code?

These are awesome. Purchased 2 for $5 each about 6 months ago. Been on clearance a while then.

    MRS Paint loves them.

What do you do with 4 makeup mirrors??

    • Gift his friends?

      One for each cheek

      • Here's a $5 bunnings mirror.
        Crap gift.

  • I know this is nitpicking now but U wish it was shower proof aka water proof and had a hook so I could hang it on my shower head.

The $5 stick on mirror which I'm just hanging off my shower head with a piece of string now is pretty useless and too small but at least I can see if I shaved my whole face or not in the shower but I have to really get on my toes and angle to use it.

There are water restrictions at the moment, we’re experiencing one of the most severe droughts on record.
Please save water and shave over the basin.

      • I turn the pressure down/off between shaves i use about the same amount of water as if in the basin plus i combine it with my after work shower so it becomes all in one and end up saving water.

Don't worry I am very water efficient maybe not the best in the world as I use a bidet but pretty conservative.

I wet myself in the shower and turn the water off. Wash my face and cream the beard. Apply soap to parts of body and wash with brush and pompon whatever I want cleanest. Use a waterproof mirror to shave beard, brush teeth and then flush it all down. Got a shower-head on hose with many settings, gets rid of most stubborn soap. Floor is perfectly flat and gets pulled over with squeegee. Our water consumption is well below average.

I used 2M strips on my mirror. 3 years and still going strong in my shower

        Which mirror?

I was considering that but being near water a lot and all I didn't want to have to deal with a broken mirror at any point.

Would just be a waiting game a very anxious waiting game.

I stick to hooks usually or in this case the shower head or shower door.

Can you recommend the strips for a very wet environment?

  • Would this also be available at other NSW stores?

    • Or states? What section would we find them, bathroom stuff?

        • That's tops! Saved me a trip to my local store.

        • Bunnings stock data seems to be unreliable. Greenacre shows 39 In stock but there is none when I was there an hour ago. I asked one of the guys to check stock from their machine.

  • ebay is getting more clients again

Picked one up at Smithfield today.. scanned at $2.50!!

    • Wow that's cheap! What's the magnifying mirror like, is that totally separate to the main mirror?

      • +1

Its separate but sticks to the main mirror via a magnet.. so you can stick in on when needed, and when not needed it has a spot at the rear of the mirror.

    • That’s awesome!! Do you happen to know if they have any in stock left? I tried calling up a couple of places and they all said they had none..

      • They had 2 full boxes when I was there, a floor stack in aisle 49.

        • Thank you for you reply! Went and it’s oos:( that was fast

        • The boxes underneath were empty to start with..they just keep them there so its at arms height.

  • I bought one of these at full price to use as an inspection mirror at work. (looking underneath components to get the serial numbers in a dark warehouse and it worked great - saved using two hands one with torch and the other with a mirror)

  • $4 at CrossRoads store.

    About 6 left this morning.
