Interesting, in December you posted a deal for the same brand vac from same seller: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/507966

Are you associated with seller or brand?

Looks like sock puppeting to me.

  • +8

not at all associated - i was going to buy a xiaomi but then once i tried the puppyoo standard vacuum i thought i'd also try the stick one as well when it was a lightning deal - i'm very pleased with both - especially this one - i'm sure mods can see from my ozbargain history that i'm just a regular that's stumbled on a good deal and thrown it out there

    • How long does battery last?

      • +3

It says 45 mins on normal setting - i did a whole area at work yesterday over 15 minutes i guess - then recharged it - it has three lights for charge and only one light had gone out - today at mum's we did family room - lounge dining room hallway and bedroom - no loss of power - only bummer for me is that the battery is not replaceable like their lower end model stick is…

I actually won a Puppyoo a few years back from Joybuy. It was a very very basic model and really wouldn't compare to this or a Dyson. Worked decently enough.

    • +1

You actually won something from a Chinese site? Wow!

      • It was one of those spin to win ones too. I couldn't believe it!

  • +2
    • Wow what a piece of junk haha

  • +1

Warning: Do not vacuum puppyPoo with this model.

  • +2

Sock puppet, also crap vaccum, really tired of these Chinese knock offs they are all over social media with fake sock puppet accounts promoting their garbage Knock off. Buy from Alibaba for $50 then sell in Australia for $200

Also you’ll notice almost all amazon reviews on these knock off brands are fake

bizarre how you are jumping at shadows here folks - read this from wiki

"The company was founded in 1999 by Chong Tan as professional vacuum cleaner manufacturer. Since then, over 25 million Puppyoo upright, canister, wet/dry, hand-held and robotic vacuums have been sold worldwide."

they have been selling vacuums in overseas markets for years - do your research -their website www.puppyoo.com - lots of reviews on uk, us and canadian amazon too

    • +3

why are you shilling so hard for this brand lol

  • +1

Negging because of very concerning reviews/comments on indiegogo page along with fake reviews/sockpuppets

  • +3

Interesting you got it for $267, it's only been available for a few months and it's either been at over $300 or this new $199 price. Perhaps things are not what they appear to be avtek, or could I say… Mr. … Tan

    • -1

      LOL.
Also curious he/she bought one immediately after or immediately before buying one of these. Yet they're both apparently really good!

i joined ozbargain over 3 years ago after following a link here from whirlpool about a phone which turned out to be a great buy - so i joined, lurked and commented and bought lots of things via ozbargain over the years

with my post of a first deal i get accused of being a sock puppet - i had to google it - then the mods deleted that accusation - with my second post i get accused of it again - yesterday i thought you guys were joking - like this was some sort of welcoming committee ozbargain initiation or something lol

i started watching this machine when it was 356 - it dropped to 267 during a lightning deal - so i bought one after some research thinking if its no good ill return it as amazon are good with that - it is now even cheaper so i bought another one for mum and posted about it - i dont know why camel camel hasnt tracked it right - keepa has tracked right tho

i am not associated with this brand or with amazon so if you want to hang on a botched indegogo campaign and all the negative posts on there then go for it -

It’s normal behavior for some on this site, you get used to it. Just ignore them or bait them with their own tactics. Up to you.
don’t take it personally Better to just hit hide comments.

Any person who can't tell the difference between you and the average sockpuppet is either a troll or an idiot. Sockpuppet can hardly articulate themselves, you on the other hand sir are well written. Don't worry about these a^holes

To the neggers: fair call if you are negging the deal but you are not, you are negging @avtek because you think he is a sockpuppet. Looking forward to your comments getting deleted

My apologies for causing any distress I caused in my post. Was just looking at the pattern of your posts which clearly was wrong.

      • +2

thanks kindly kgb - also i can see how this has happened from reading hashtabargain's post down below

  • +8

It's a 3 year old account with numerous random comments. Literally no reason to complain about puppetting. I feel like a bunch of users are jumping on the bandwagon at the oppurtunity of being part of the bulk bag of dicks.

    • I once did a little experiment where I said "I negotiated the deal" versus not mentioning it all. Almost everytime the negotiated comment would result in a sockpuppet accusation. I don't bother saying it now.

Unfortunately there’s been recent incidents where established OzBargain logins could be bought for as low as $15. I can see why people are sceptical.

Op. Do you have Dyson or Other stick vacuum to compare this with?
    Reviews aren’t too good?

    • +2

no i havent used any other stick vacuum - i was interested in the xiaomi v9 as i have a few xiaomi things - ive had a bit of a look and feel of the kmart $99 one which felt very flimsy/cheap compared to this - felt like my $48 aldi floor vac which wasnt any good and broke down after a year (i steer clear of aldi electrics these day - apart from that ive mainly used a commercial backpack vac over the years which suddenly stopped working hence my recent vacuum buying spree

      • Out of curiosity what Aldi floor van do you have? I have one an have been fine with mine

        • it was a blue bagless dyson-ish lookalike - cant remember if it had a model number?

          • @avtek: Sorry for some reason n I was typing floor but thinking robot. Mines a robot vac

  • +1

We're just witnessing OP fill his house with vacuums now lol

  • Note that AU version doesn't come with Hard Floor Head. I didn't read the specification carefully so returned mine unused to Amazon

  • $169.89
    Price: $199.99 (15% off)
