    Landfill

You can get cheaper landfill elsewhere…

I got a watch like this from Chinavasion recently, and the companion app has been depreciated. I installed an archived version from a mirror site, and the watch still won't work. They're refunding me.

    So, yes – landfill.

    • Can you use it as a watch (time, bp measurement and steps counter) without connecting it to your phone?

      • Yes, I suppose you can use it for basic functionality such as a watch, calendar viewer, and (very inaccurate) step counter.

      • Lol accurate BP measurement won’t ever be achieved in a watch unless we have a dramatic breakthrough in medicine. It’s a known fact that past large arteries the pressure drops and the pulse wave is flattened out.

The most advanced I’ve ever seen is finger cuffs but even the scientists of that lab acknowledged they are horribly inaccurate and are only used to determine the drop in blood pressure (a part of the research lab I was involved in)

Edit: I know such products exist but they are inaccurate and I highly doubt this landfill one will even have the functionality of an inflatable cuff.

The picture shown on the website misspelled "steps" really badly.
