    Yes, I've done it on a VH belt. There are 2 small screws with an equally small spring on the belt buckle.

    You can then just use a box cutter to cut the length down and cut a "U" shape in the leather matching the shape of the existing one.

    Just be careful that you don't strip the head of the screws as they aren't the best quality.
