Do you guys use shaved roasted almonds on any curries?

    • +1

We garnish several curries with sliced almonds but not which are cooked and roasted with the curries.
      Thanks :)

      • +1

Thanks for letting me know. Was going to book (10 minutes down the road!) but i'm allergic to almonds and i've noticed the new trend is to garnish curries with almonds.

        • +2

due to the allergy, I reckon placing a Takeaway order or dining in instead of the buffet.
P.S I don't even like almonds, and I personally think they don't go well with curries.
          Thanks anyway :)

      • butter chicken and briyani…..I'll be sold!

        • can 100% say butter chicken is there.
unsure about biryani at this time XD
          thanks

      • No dessert at all? A nice kulfi or thick rasmalai/ rabdi (fed up of watery ones elsewhere) should do the trick.

I'm down the road in Heathmont so might try this place regardless. Many nice Indian restaurants around, Inc our beloved Taj Agra, but always willing to give a new one a go!

    • This buffet is a very cost-effective way to try the flavors we offer.
      Thanks :)

    • +8

      hey xinyi,
the normal price for a dish is 15-20 dollars
for this buffet we rearrange the restaurant in order to fit several tables of food for the buffet.
There is no ordering of food or wait times for food.
only wait timesare when we will run low on a buffet item and we will then top it up
      Thanks :)

I noticed you now required booking. You need to edit the start date to when you start taking bookings, unless you intend to take them only on 19 January.

    • Thanks alvian.
we need to know numbers as we have a maximum of 50 per session
      Thanks again

My OzBargain front page deals are becoming more refined as I use the "Hide" deals from button for deals or stores I'm not interested in. I suggest doing the same if your not interested

Have been here a la carte and enjoyed it.

    • Thanks beanlanda :)

    • +1

Agreed. This restaurant regularly offers buffets for $25 so it's not a bargain at all.
