EB Games have emailed EB World members to advise of individual store closures, with 20-60% off the marked price of items storewide at those stores only. Thanks to @apsdogg for this photo of the discount categories

Stores reported as closing:

Thanks to everyone who has mentioned stores closing near them - I initially posted as Majura Park only,

Not sure what current stock levels are, so no specific deals to highlight at this stage.

    Elated to have purchased a Logitech G920 Steering Wheel + Shifter at Birkenhead Point today. From $348 it was further reduced by 30% (accessories) to $243.60. At the time of writing this, there is only one of each wheel left - G29 (PlayStation) and G920 (Xbox).

    I also went to Rockdale (very busy) the day prior, staff said that all Logitech Wheels had been sold out.

    For some unbeknownst reason, Birkenhead Point does not display closing sales signs anywhere in store, however the same discounts still apply.

    Saw a Logitech G502 Hero wireless for $168. 30% off brings it down to about $110 at Dandenong Plaza. Good luck

    The Tamworth store is not closing down as such.

    Tamworth used to have two EB Games stores, one in the main street and one in shopping centre. Both have gone but they have reopened the one in the shopping centre in a larger shopfront and have merged with Zing

    Just been to EB Winston Hills. Plenty of people there clearing out what’s left.

    No prices really jump out. But I guess the 30% off accessories eg keyboards, mice etc would be good for some.

    I did see two huge boxes of used Skylanders and old FIFA games for $2 a pop. Why EB holds onto these i have no idea.

    How do you post screen shots to prove my claim, not only I spent that much on their rip off amiibos, that every other store was selling for $14 that time, but they had to go $18. Yeah they stone cold screwed me $4 x how many times you do the maths. Here’s another fun fact I can prove i also purchased 21 full priced PS4 off them for $559 x 21 times that’s $11739. What a generous guy I am, to further fund Them my hard honest legit dollars.

      I'm honestly jealous you had $57k lying around to spend on Amiibos and all this spare time to hold grudges against a video game store because they saved you from your own financial stupidity years ago.

      I should reevaluate what I do for a living because I can see it's clearly not enough?

    Went to the blacktown store Thursday, friday and saturday.

    Mario and Waluigi hats were $8 each, Donkey kong t-shirts $3.6 and got Journey collector's edition for $11.4

    Also a Playstation watch (the one that has the original playstation) cost me $11.4, the price on the watch said $48 but actually was on sale for $19.

    Passed again Sunday afternoon but most of the stuff is gone. Nothing to see.

    Really not happy with EB games… friends with a lot of the good staff in adelaide, and quite aware of all the terrible ones.

    That whole toxic culture at EB thing is well known and seems to be quite alive.

    Most of the good staff at the stores closing down have been told they're done, no more hours or will be laid off.

    2 of the worst offenders who were known for two of the stores underperforming, are getting transferred to other stores.

    So we atleast know the next two stores to close down next round of shut downs.

    Really annoyed at eb over this, there were quite a few good staff members there who got used and abused by them, the old midnight launches for 3 hours pay for a shift that started with an unpaid 3 hour mandatory setup in exchange for pizza.

    Stocktake at stores all over the state where no compensation was given for transport.

    Female staff constantly being told that they are in line for a management position only to be passed over despite doing all of the above as well as being ogled by the males only to have those same males promoted over them, despite never having done any management training.

    I hate to rant on this, but for every good shop like my local which is in no danger of closing down, these shops were full of people doing their best and fighting a losing battle in terrible conditions for a company that couldn't care less about them.

      There's also a 2 for 1 preowned games bin at the front but can't be used with any offer. Didn't ask if it could be used with the 40% off preowned though.

      Doesn't feel special if I can get 2 for 1 for $48 or 40% off 2 games for $51 :L

    Went to the Underwood store yesterday. It's slim pickings. Games are only discounted by 20% and still not a good deal. Selected loot are 60% off. I'll go again on the last day and hopefully, everything will be discounted by 60%. Very disappointed overall.
