Online means click-and-collect for a specific store? Will online sale also open at 7am or is it the night before?

True enough. Everything is made in China anyway. Same component made in the same factory. The branded ones hopefully have better quality…

I had one of those Satellite notebooks. Very good product. That was 10+ years ago though.

I paid a premium for a Mercedes but I've got a Nissan! LOL.

Japan is old and weak now I guess. I remember back in the 80s, everything was made in Japan.

That I know. Companies source components for best value for money. But the whole brand? That's shocking.

I just felt like an idiot. I always say I'll not patronise CCP brands (Hisense and TCL. And possibly Huawei. Jury is still out on them.).…

Hisense bought Toshiba TV brand in 2017. I bought my Toshiba TV around 2019. It is definitely a Hisense. For my next TV, I might as well…

There seems to be a 43" TCL, but I'd rather not buy a CCP brand (privately-owned Chinese brands are OK for me, not government-linked like…

Is there any 43" model at Costco? I am looking for a sub-$1000 Sony or Samsung TV. Not a member, but will spend $60 for membership if I…

EPP deal sounds really good, but I am not an employee.

I thought retailers normally don't price match Costco because it is a member-only place? Anyway $60 membership is well worth for this kind…

Isn't it an older model? I believe it only has 1 HDMI 2.1 port. Ideally, I want 2: 1 for XSX, 1 for PS5. I know, I know. First world…

That's what I want too. They say it's the best 43-inch TV ever.

I just have very low confidence in all delivery companies. Which one does Sony use? Only Amazon has decent delivery in my opinion.

And free shipping too. However, fragile items like TVs, I'd rather click-and-collect. AusPost will surely screw it up.

LED Full Array is supposed to be better. Is yours Full Array?
28/09/2021 - 15:19
No idea. I heard rumors that TV prices will go down at the end of the year. Who knows with the current shortage of display panels and chips?

I think Microsoft is cool again. Not the evil empire as in the early 2000s. They own GitHub and Bethesda. And cloud-focused. That's pretty…

Cool. That's where the console and the TV have the same frame rate, right? Coming in December as commented. Not sure that's for PS5 or…

I think TVs are capped at 120fps/hz. Monitors are better at syncing, I believe. Not a PC gamer, so my knowledge is limited.

Telstra and Optus are probably better if you are already with them. I use cheaper providers, so I cannot.

You can get 4K and 60fps for some last-gen games on Series X with boost mode. I'll replay a few games just for that. And true next-gen…
