  • Anyone know if these are any good? Been looking for a good Bluetooth controller to use on my PC and with Animal Crossing around the corner, I will have a Switch soon too.

    • just get an official controller. official controllers work with pc too

      • Cheers. Didn’t know it works with PC. I have bought that may flash USB pen that connects my ps3/ps4 controllers but seems like I had to sync each time. Also haven’t figured out where the - and + buttons should be on the os controllers

Had a Google around, model seems to be GMSWA-01 and it generally retails from $30 (likely USD?) to $40. Nobody seems to have written reviews, and allegedly it has motion sensing.

    Doesn't look programmable, so I think I will stick with my 8bitdo SN30 Pro+.

    • They do look very similar. The ones you linked to claim to 600mA battery compared to this one being 550mA?

Tempted to get one to connect to my Steamlink for Cemu games, having the built in gyro would be a massive help over the Xbox One controller I use currently.

      • Why not get a Steam controller then? Gyro, touchpads, programmable and going for dirt cheap.

        • My brother has one and I don't really have an interest in it. I'm happy with the Xbox One controller for majority of other games, just would be handy to have the gyro for Cemu.

Where have you seen them dirt cheap though? They're not available new any more and a quick search on eBay and Gumtree show they're not that cheap at all.

          • @Nousernamehere: Oh this was a couple months ago at EB. Didn't realise they'd been discontinued. Such a shame.

  • Any idea if these will stop syncing with future switch updates? Or are they an official device?

  • work with Wii U?

I wouldn't even force my little sister to use one of these as second player

    • Based on the neg, it looks like you offended someone that does let their little sister use this controller to play their switch.

    • You're not talking facts bra

      • how do you know he's wearing a bra, bro?

        • Who are you calling bro, pal?

  • The majority of these cheap controllers do not support amibos or motion sensing, in addiction have cruddy dpads and fail after short term use. The 8-bitdo is a cheaper option and you can use just about any game pad from other systems with it. Eb games sell wired Hori gamepads for $36 at the moment and these have excellent feel and response, though they also don’t support amibos or motion control either.
