    Cue racist company comments.

  • +2 votes

I have revoked my ‘+’ vote due to racism by the company.

  • +5 votes

    Apparently the owner is racist?

  • +6 votes

Just so we're clear. The owner is definitely a racist and nobody should buy from this company.

Just so we're clear. I honestly dont think $20 of a $69 spend is a good deal for Youfoodz…from the deal side perspective, hasn't there been a lot better on many more occasions?

    • +7 votes

I don't care. A deal is a deal. I come here for the bargains not social justice.

Thanks OP been waiting for a new code usually they appear by the 14th nice it’s a few days early this year

Racist company, trash. Do not support them.

  • +8 votes

    The deal is trash.
    The owner is racist.
The company doesn't give a shit about its customers.
Seems like they aren't doing anything to help bushfire victims/volunteers either.

    • +5 votes

How do you know about that last point? I've seen many people on social media knock anyone they don't hear directly announcing support which is a little over the top….. Many do it in silence. Seems everyone's guilty till proven otherwise.

Not specifically defending this company, more just the general comment….

      •

That's why I put "seems like" and not just "they aren't".
Trust me, a company like this would make that public.
You would think after so many wrong steps they've made, it would be an easy decision PR wise.

        • +5 votes

I understand. But it's not relevant to this. It's defamatory. No issues with you attacking their obvious indiscretions, but keep it to that.

          • +7 votes

@scuderiarmani: Seems like pennypincher isn't supporting the bushfire appeal. I mean I can't validate it, just seems like it.

            • +1 vote

@31mop: Ok, you've got a valid point there I'll admit. Now that's it's been put out there though without sounding like an entitled w*nker, I have donated generously to the bushfire appeal. After all, they saved my grandma's house. It's the least I can do.

    •

Whaat ! so it's not just the owners wife that's racist?

      • +1 vote

Allegedly it's his voice on the second video near the pool that is also mocking the tourists, so no, not just the fiancee.

Other than that, staff have mentioned that allegedly migrant staff are treated poorly.

    •

Their entire IG stories have been about the fires and their donations to food bank and highlighting other charities. I don’t see the companies jumping on the bush fire relief for promotion bandwagon as relevant to the deals but just thought I’d highlight they have been donating and promoting charities for the relief

Finally a food store that resembles my beliefs and values

  • +6 votes

Look at these vulgarians (pic below), I feel quite sick to the stomach they actually profited from my past patronage.

Their racist behaviour clearly isn't isolated.

"bullying, racism, extreme wage theft" of migrant workers.

And frankly, you know you're a racist when even a Murdoch owned paper calls you as much.

I've almost never agree when the mob labels someone as racist.

But the tone of her voice, and the way they're doing it to completely innocent normal people doing normal things…
There is just no other explanation. It sounded so personal and mocking. This isn't just putting on an act to get a laugh, this sounded too casual and belittling to be that.

She gives off such a 'popular' bitchy highschool girl vibe from this. I mean how otherwise can you turn out like that; not realising that your words can hurt?

YouFoodz quality is consistently going downhill. My partner and I used to use YouFoodz for 10 meals a week (both our dinners for 5 nights). The meals are getting smaller portions, cheaper ingredients, new menu is nowhere near as good as their old ones. We ordered some just last week and agreed we wont use them again. Wouldn't recommend.

Also, first time I'm reading about the racism in the comments here. Disappointing.

    •

Haven't ordered from them for a while either, but wondering if there is an alternative, most other companies i've looked into are $11+ a meal and charge delivery. Might as well just buy out for lunch and cook dinner at home.

Racist owners don’t deserve our support.

I highly recommended, vindictive Cotten Ball social media people need to focus on more troubling issues !

    Still not over it?

Australia lags behind, cancel culture will die out even Obama is telling the left to stop it.

For me the food is good and the pricing is good enough, plus the convenience I don’t care if some people are racist, they’re from the Gold Coast it’s was 50/50 they’d be racist anyway doesn’t mean every employee should be put out of work because some people want to pretend they’re outraged but whatever it gives the keyboard warriors their jollies I guess pretending they’re doing something

      •

It sounds like you can be bought with money 🤨

        • +2 votes

Just not interested in the faux outrage cancel culture whining, most probably posting using products from companies running sweatshops or with “racist” employees they just don’t have a news article to pretend to be all worked up over

          • +3 votes

@Japius: I don’t believe that’s the OP intent. He even upvoted the deal initially.

            • +2 votes

@BongoOB: No It wasn’t I don’t support the company in anyway (they are racist.) I posted the deal because some people still continue to purchase from a company like Youfoodz that is racist, If they are going to buy from them I’d rather they pay $40 than $80 to the company for example. The less money the racist company gets the better.

              • +3 votes

@WoodYouLikeSomeCash: It could have the opposite affect and give the company more business than they otherwise would. That’s what these promotions aim to do. I feel using chat forums to highlight their racism might work better.

            • +1 vote

@BongoOB: If you post the deal it up votes automatically, unless you are associated

  • +2 votes

Ahhh another post for the Racists.

  • +1 vote

Let him who is without sin cast the first stone

    • +2 votes

Not applicable. No one's getting stoned. People are just choosing to not support this company due to conflicting views.

      It's capitalism. Sweet, sweet capitalism.

  • +2 votes

Perhaps there should just be a automatic note included with every new Youfoodz post - "Be aware: Racist Owners" and then we could leave the comment section open to actually discussing the bargain specifics.

  • +1 vote

    Downvoted for racism
