[NSW] Free House Value Estimations @ Homeon.com.au (Greater Sydney)

26

Get a free home value estimation from HomeOn calculator (homeon.com.au), it enable users to work with the artificial intelligence (AI) – to take home improvements into account, and improve the estimate with their own knowledge of the property accordingly.

It’s only for houses in the greater Sydney region though, and doesn’t put too much detail of a suburb or neighborhood. But it does allow property owners and buyers to get the price estimates from up-to-date individual property information instead of an ‘averaged’ statistical data, and it does not require users to enter any personal information or register.

Only house addresses in the Greater Sydney region are supported, for now, apartment and unit support coming soon. Please report the missing house address if it is valid.

report the missing house address if it is valid does not work.

    • thanks, we're looking at it now!

Where's the bargain here? Looks like spam, and an opportunity for the site to collect your data sell it to real estate agents.

HomeOn doesn't require users to enter any personal information or register

      • Ok, so it's just an electronic version of the real estate scum that keep offering me free house valuations. Leeches.

You really need to outline why your product is better than the usual real estate agent service, otherwise who cares. You started describing this but really need to do better. If I've added a bedroom to a 4 bed house, then I'd just compare to 5 bed houses. If it's fancy, I'd just compare to fancy houses. The cost etc of the reno is irrelevant, it's only the comparison to other property values (sales & can't sells) that is valid. So, what are you offering exactly? I'd poke through realestate.com.au and get a better result that I could trust because I've done it diligently myself and seen the other property photos as a means of verification.

You might offer a faster service, there's some value in that, but I bet it'd be less accurate than an informed opinion.

You don't need personal details for this, you just need the property address, which you'll have. This will be then flagged as a prospect and sold off to agents.

I note you don't deny selling the data.

I get pamphlets for free house evaluations all the time

    • Indeed, even when I expressly state "no junk mail" my box is full of them.

your developers need to stop debugging to console in a production application, and fix all their usage of deprecated resources
and probably take a look at your CORS policy.

You posted this "deal" in November https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/498005

How much was the cost after that deal expired?

    • Always been free. This is just a spam listing.

If this is allowed, every estate agent in the country may as well start posting ads for "free valuations" .

  • Looks like a data gathering exercise to me..

  • Spam. Data gathering. A repost of existing. No deal.
