    Where's the Dare Iced Coffee?

  • +20

They should throw in a free driving lesson voucher too…

    • +5

true, no obeying road rules. I am tired of them.

    • +2

And a free book on the proper use of apostrophes and the difference between 'your' and 'you're'.

      • Like they say, were still longing for days of you're.

  • +4

If bunnings can teach tradies the road rules while tradies being fed (secretly—- shhhhh), that would be great… I watched a few dashcam videos, I was horrified by how many tradies break road rules.

    • +2

I love how many of these (profanity) don't realise they have their business name plastered down the side! There are 'ways' to deal with them

      • +3

Let's not tradie bash. Don't agree with 'ways to deal with them' as some sort of spiteful revenge for something that happened on the road? It sounds crazier than the drivers I see in the morning commute.

God if I did that for every bad driver I wouldnt have time in the day. seeking revenge via someone's employment could have some real world ramifications that I wouldn't want on my conscience.

        • +1

          Agreed.

I only ever got one complaint, and management thankfully saw the BS in their story, as roads & times were noted.

Dude doing 60 in an 80 zone for several kms. I overtake, he froths, then immediately jumps on my employer's FB page, saying I did 100km in a 60 "during school times".

          Wow.

        • Meh, if they want to endanger my life they can deal with it

          • +1

@kronicmacstigator: Sure, if your life was in danger who wouldn't? Although something tells me your definition of that may be much different to the average Joe

    • +1

      Sounds like classic confirmation bias.

On the topic of dashcam videos and tradies…

    • +1

Haha, can confirm that there are some tradies who just don't care about road rules.

Looks to be a sloppy roll with eggs and bacon. Think I'll look after my bowel and have muesli. Plus I'm an engineer, not a tradie, though I do have a power pass.

    • +2

Perhaps it's an elaborate ploy to keep tradies on the toilets and off the roads.

    • -7

The muesli is less healthy than the eggs and bacon (although the bread is garbage). I'm surprised I have to point out that processed grain with processed fruit is unhealthy.

      • +12

What muesli are you eating that has 'processed grains'? You mean like oats?
Dried fruit is as old as olive oil, that's not processed either.

I'm all for health food paranoia, but you really don't deserve you tin foil hat if you think the scientifically proven link between cancer and nitrites (in bacon) is harmless but the muesli will kill you (https://www.theguardian.com/news/2018/mar/01/bacon-cancer-pr…)

    • +1

Love talking about yourself a lot don’t you

    • +3

Don't forgot to schedule in 30 minutes to bathe in your own smug aroma.

  • +2

    I WANT ONIONS !!!!!!!!!

    • And on top of my snag!

  • +1

They have them every Monday morning at my local.

    • Thats awesome!
Outside of newcastle does anywhere else do that, that you know of?

        • +4

Are you in need of a free breakfast?

            • +6

@sirlothie: I don't agree that it's the purpose of those breakfasts (it's inclusive) but admire the tenacity of such n effort.

The low key flexing though, it must be exhausting to be arrogant.

              • -8

@FlatulentFrank: the only way to reply to haters envious of your hustle and grind is to give them the finger.

                • +4

@sirlothie: Upvoted you because you need all the love you can get. Once you gain that arbitrary amount that you deem is "success" - you'll then realise how foolish the attitude can be towards that very persuit.

Best of luck yoloswag guy :) you'll make it

Are you talking about the Frankston Churches Breakfast Club (FCBC) ?

After being without a venue for a number of years, the Frankston Churches Breakfast Club (FCBC) has found a new home at Chisholm's campus.

Are you doing it tough and need a helping hand?

        • Do you honestly feel this is for all members of the community?

  • Do you need to dress like Tradie?

    • +9

Just show them your ass crack

    • flash your powerpass card at a guess? :)

      • Hi-vis and a van worked for me last time.

      • flash your powerass crack

It'll be like the arse-crack Olympics - Tradies bum-cracks far as the eye can see. Gotta feel for the Bunnings employees a little..

  • +4

Bring sunnies - the flouro will be blinding.

  • +4

Will be a late dinner for most of them

  • -1

Probably get too close to the BBQ and get heated off.

  • -1

Wouldn't want to have a tradie booked to turn up tomorrow morning

  • Straight after free lunch in the local Pubs pokie lounge

  • +1

They have this almost every thursday at my local bunnings.
Bread rolls, sausages, hash browns and bacon strips on the bbq. Plus a free can of drink.

Even if youre not a tradie and ask nicely theyll give you whatever you want.

  • Extra bacon!

  • +1

I attended last time they did this for EOFY and it was very good. It was breakfast in the morning for tradies and pizza in the arvo for office workers. Classic.

  • No required evidence of occupation I assume?

I'm more a labourer than a tradie. But I work hard to make a living and bring shelter from the rain.
Like my father before me, I was expected to carry on in the steel industry so that's what I did. You could say I have blue denim in my veins.

I'm saving all my overtime for the one love of my life. So with the power of Elvis I'll take advantage of this offer.

    • +1

You sound like a real working class man

      • It's funny you say that. I've pretty much worked across the country from end to end. Tried to find a place to settle down, where my mixed up life could mend. Held a job on an oil-rig. Flew choppers when I could. Won't bore you with the details.

        • +2

Sounds like you've been drinking two much cheap wine.

  • Its too bad scaffolding isnt considered a trade. Would be all over this 😉

  • Thanks for all the comments.
Tradie or not this is just a free breaky tomorrow so make use of it or not.
Powerpasses are free, breakfast is free and power passes give you discounts.
If you’re a bunnings regular DIY person you’ll benifit from this not just for the standard 5% off but for a free feed.
    Stay civil, all the best.

  • Most tradies are at work by 7am? Or am I in a wrong trade.

  • +1

Bacon, egg & hasbrown in a burger with choice of tomato sauce, bbq and mustard. Filled to the brim with bacon, egg well cooked and hash brown topped it off - 9/10.

    • I’m glad someone’s tastebuds had fun!
Also thats a crazy high score 😂
Ya’ll need to level up on breaky
