  • You gonna link the fan too?

  • Wonder if the air pump is ok for motorbike

Check the youtube video, it can pump car.

      • But in one video I watched, it tooks 15 mins to get to 35 PSI when they claim 6 mins

        • An hour for four tires. Most people could go to their local servo and be back home in the time it tJes to pump 1 tire.

@ash2000: unfortunately when is fully charged, it can do 5 tyres as per the claim, but if 1 takes 15 mins, then you can only choose 2 :)

        • It still did it

        • +1

If the tyre is under weight load it will take longer than if you take the tyre off to pump….not sure what the case was in the video you watched though

    Ordered the fan.

    • I have the 2S, 2S with battery but less control button on the fan itself have to use the app.

Very good fan and very quiet.

      • Oh good. I was hoping to run it in the bedroom and hopefully reduce the air-con usage. Shitty house has no ceiling fans.

        • +1

          hopefully reduce the air-con usage.

Depends on how hot it is, if very hot no fan can do the job XD

I'm not a big fan of the mi fan as I'll need aircon anyway.

      • With our sky rocking power bill I will only use aircon when necessary.

Air pump is cheaper inc. delivery (for me at least) from Amazon

  • Does anyone know if I can use this fan with Google home and tell it to change to a different speed? Alternatively does it remember the last speed it was set on when it was powered off?

    • Xiaomi smartphone products were disabled from using Google home but most functionality has since returned as they limited it to the cameras as the securiyhas been patch.

Google home integration as far as I can tell now includes turning on and off and setting fan speed. It's difficult to learn the commands as there isn't any instructions. So there may be more.

When you bring it into Google home I suggest making the name stupidly easy like "fan".

Then commands like "set fan speed to 3" "turn on fan" should be as easy as it gets.

      • Incorrect only the video cameras from Google hub, all my mi products will work with Google home

        • That's what I said. The original deactivation was for everything, but a day or so later was confined to the cameras only.

          • @Doogan: I checked on the day and didn't affect any of my devices

    • Are you powering off by its on off or via wall switch?

    • Yes you can use with Google home as based in this set up tutorial https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.jilaxzone.com/2019/02/21/co…

    • I dont have the fan but I have the xioami air filter which connects to Google home with no issues and is still working with Google home via mi home

  • Was eyeing this earlier, but waiting for my $500 kogan credit to come in first (if that ever happens).

  • how much better is this pedestal fan compared to kmart's $29 one with (non-wifi) remote control?

    • It's wifi more like the $89 kmart one

    • compared to kmart's $29 one with

DC motor fan is a lot better, cheaper to run and a lot quieter.

When I first received it, I thought it is quite small but it did the job quit well and much better than those cheap fan.

Especially I like the natural wind a lot more comfortable and really good to use it when you go to bed.

  • pump looks pretty bulky to carry around on your bicycle. Much better to just get some CO2 chargers.

    • Was thinking this. Any ideas if it has enough volume to seal and pump a 29" tubeless tyre?

      • 16g should be enough for 40 lb even in a big MTB tire.. And you can get > 16g ones.
there's 20g and 25g ones but are a bit expensive and less common than 12g and 16g.

        • oooh nah nah, i meant the xiaomi pump - does it have enough volume to seal/pump?

  • Does anyone know if this can be used on a presta nozzle?
