    Anyone able to help me out - the listing states GPS Positioning, but this review (if you can call it that) say no GPS. Can someone confirm if this can be used for mapping my run?

      25 days + 44$ = no gps indeed. So with this type of watch you can probably start/stop track recording on your phone if the companion app on the phone supports it so you have to run with the watch (but it does not look like this particular watch can do even this).

      It has no wifi, no NFC, and I very much doubt GPS, though the app may use the phone's gps.
      Don't expect too much at this price.
      If the battery life is decent, HRM reliable, and interface usable, it is a bargain. But do not compare to Apple or Samsung.

      Mmm… A few articles mentions it does, see here and here. Shall ask the rep to confirm if it has built-in GPS or if it uses the phones GPS.

      Rep confirmed no in-built GPS, but it can use the phones GPS to map your run.
