Asus PRIME X570 Pro Motherboard $298.89 Delivered @ FTC eBay

Original Coupon Deal

I bought this board in pre-xmas sales for the same price as it's packing a lot of features I wanted. It's a ripoff at $370-400 at many Aussie retail stores but represents good value for under $300. Considering it's a tier 2 motherboard from Asus under their ROG stuff, under 300 is decent for x570 with a good array of features..

SO if you're after an X570 MB with great features but dont wanna fork out $400, this might be it!

Reasons I like it:
- Front USB-C header (one of the few in this price range with this connector)
- 3rd PCIE x 16 slot
- Decent VRM config for overclocking (See here: https://imgur.com/JS5OHFH)
- White/black colour scheme with RGB
- Dual M.2 PCIE 4.0
- Integrated IO shield

EDIT: If you're wondering how it compares feature wise to other boards, use this google doc to compare the features that are important to you! The sheet has every X570 board from every manufacturer.

  • Good choice, I mentioned it in the last deal- https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/512771?page=1

    • Didn't see your comment :)

      Yes it'll smash a 3900x BTW.

  • You might also want to include the AM4 VRM rating table.

  • Personally i suggest to buy gigabyte x570 elite, you can get it via amazon for AUD$298 now

    • Another good option, although the non wifi (which was cheaper) has been discontinued.

I considered this one, but my issues were it only has 2 x PCIE x4 slots and no rear USB C. Not a dealbreaker for many people but it tipped the scale towards the Asus Pro for me. But it also has Wifi…. so a good comparison board!

  • +3

I wouldn't buy from ftc_computers again no matter how cheap

  • +1

for around $300ish ASUS AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Plus WiFi
$306.65 + $19.90 Delivery on Amazon (was $25 cheaper last week on sale)

way good power, plus wifi and has usb-c but not a front usb-c connector

    • What is warranty situation with ordering international parts? I fear a major head ache dealing with DOA parts from America.

  • Is there a website or spreadsheet where I can find tiers for value with the X570 motherboards?

  • Dupe

  • AM4 Mobo comparison

    EDIT:
It's in German, please use google translate.

  • Holy shit, that spreadsheet is beautiful! I know I'm an Intel guy, but something like that I'm surprised I haven't come across yet.
Researching a budget X570 board for my mate recently I ended up recommending him the ASUS TUF X570 Plus Wi-Fi, at this price the PRIME looks like a winner if you're not after integrated Wi-Fi though.

    • Yeah the spreadsheet is gold!

  • Asus Australia warranty?

  • Nice deal, was looking at this very board/price a few days ago.

  • I like this board, but no wifi, soo thats the biggest weakness imo.

  • Terrible company. Bought something on Ebay, they listed it as 'sent' but they never dropped it off at the courier (Sendle). I contacted them multiple times and got no reply. At day 28 (Ebay 30 day money back garuntee) I had to go through with the refund. Would never want to deal with them. Ever.
