  • Hi op, any example flight schedules for below? Mine came out at AUD 2638 as cheapest..

    Sydney to
    Tokyo / Osaka / Nagoya / Fukuoka
    From AUD688
    Travel Dates:
    7/7/2020 - 10/8/2020
    18/8/2020 - 20/9/2020

    • Sorry I didn't delve into the dates/combinations so much.

I would check that you are flying with ANA and they do are not code share flights.

    • I checked Travel Dates:7/7/2020 - 10/8/2020 $1394.66
      Travel Dates:7/7/2020 - 11/8/2020 $948.66

I think very limited seat for this fare.

ANA will add a flight SYD/HND from 29/03/2020 so I think more sale fare will come.

      • Good to know, I think the Perth deal is much better as the direct flight was only introduced late last year.

Now just need to convince the boss.

        • +1

I took this same flight to tokyo November last year, its the best economy class compared to singapore airlines, cathay pacific etc in my opinion. Food was good, the seat was even better (wide leg room)and the service was outstanding.

  • Hi, legit question here, why do you like to go in November?

    • Autumn leaves are beautiful

      • +1

Weather is mild, autumn leaves are great and isn't a peak tourist season. All winners for me.

        • Agree all except it seemed like a peak tourist season (i might be wrong as that was my first trip to japan or could be because I am from Perth). It was crowded everywhere in trains, streets, shopping malls and even more in tourist destinations like Fushimi Inari, Tokyo Skytree, Arashiyama etc.

          • +1

@bghunter: It is busy all year, November isn't the quietest time of the year (such as Jan or Feb) but it is much quieter than other times in the year.

I find since the first time I went in 2013 crowds have gotten bigger each year.

  • OP thanks for posting.
Noticed with ANA in general the prices you can get are substantially higher than advertised?

  • Thanks OP !.. booked july 7 -july18 family of 4 for $2550 into Haneda and out of Osaka.. for school holiday period that seems like an awesome deal for a full service airline …… any tips for family holiday while there greatly appreciated..

  • Ah Olympic year and lots of sales. this could be fun
