    I've got the SM8600 which also has an IPS screen. The local dimming and backlight bleed is pretty bad when watching at night.
    Otherwise good colour and viewing angle as expected.

      A lot of people said that, I am just wondering how bad? And when you said at night did you mean you have all light off in a room?

        If you're on a dark image and have local dimming set to any level you'll get big vertical panels wherever you move the magic mouse cursor. Turning it off mostly fixes it. If anything has black bars you'll get some pretty distracting backlight bleed. Full daytime light you probably won't notice it.

            @superforever: it'll be reduced for sure, for reference if your monitor is IPS it probably does the same thing

      Cheers for that. I picked up the 43" LG 4k for my stepson today and pretty impressed. Going to go grab the 65" asap.
