    Have the RU7100 50” of this in the bedroom, great tv for those on a budget, it’s responsive has all the apps needed and connects to Alexa for on, off, channels and volume…

          I've seen nothing on my 50" Ru7100 in 4 months of ownership, or on 12 months of my 75" Nu8000, so I would say that's old news.

            @bassmaniac69: It doesn't really worry me, however on my older NU7100 I see small ads next to the notification bell. The last one I saw was for the joker movie on Google play movies a few days ago, before that I saw an ad for Disney plus. It's only on display when you are on the home screen / menu.

            I assume that is what is meant by advertising? Similar to how Windows 10 puts 'suggested apps' in the Windows menu.

      The Hisense R7 has an overall better picture quality and has 200hz vs 100hz for this Samsung. However, if apps and response time mean anything to you, then the Samsung NU7100 takes the cake

    Ok those who own this TV is it any good with movies? From what I've heard Samsung TV's tend to be a bit too vibrant with colours.
