Soniq 32" (81cm) HD LCD TV Built-in Tuner $299

41

Just got the latest JB Hi-Fi catalogue in the mail and it has their Soniq 32" LCD HD TV for $299 with HDMI (doesn't say how many). I have a 32" Soniq at home in the bedroom and think it's great for the money.
Not much detail in the ad and I can't find it on their website, so don't know the resolution. If someone can find it, I'll happily update.
Sale starts Wednesday 24/8 - Tuesday 6/9

if it said HD, doubt it would be 1080P they always say FULL HD…

Agree. Doubt it is 1080P, but not a major issue for me in the bedroom :)

doubt that soniq would put a TV in 1080p HD for 299. even more doubt that JB would do so.

      they did it last time
do your research before you make bold claims like that

Sure did and it got heaps of votes!

        • because it was an absolute bargain
i missed out but i got the vivo 32" fhd from Eljo.
had it for a week. not the best tv, but using it now as my monitor. bargain for the price tho

except this one mentions no usb or pvr functions like the last one! maybe they figure the last offering was too popular…

i would spend $68 more and get Toshiba 32" High Definition LCD TV AV800A with 24 months warranty and Top-notch picture quality .

  • +1

crap price compared to recent 32" HD LCDs from DSE and ALDI's which had USB recording and playback. Much better TVs in general than the Soniq which is the worst of the worst and costs $50 more…

+1 I got the DSE one for $248 ($15 shipping) and it's been awesome, hooked it up to my WDTV live media player.

MEH! Would much rather they brought back the $299 FullHD Soniq for $299 and I would get that. LCD is old hat now and too bulky.

  • i bought 1 for parents at the last sale, though has a rather slow response time and picture quality isn't the best but it has built-in media player that can play most of the common video files such as mkv, avi, mpg, rmvb, wma etc… oh well, good enough for my parents to have in their bedroom

    • picture quality on mine was awesome… maybe you got a dud….
change channel time isnt great however i just use the EPG.

  • Pretty average price for a 720p cheap-brand 32" LCD. DSE's got these for $250 and JB (a few months back) was selling their soniq fullHD at this price.

    Full HD one was better.
