      PSA: Bus Simulator 18 Editor is just the Unreal Engine editor for the steam workshop. I installed it (and was extremely excited to drive some buses) and was severely disappointed. If you want free stuff you might as well claim it I guess.

    Can I just clarify, while Epic have been very generous recently offering many free games on their platform.. they are ultimately bad for the gaming industry.

    They have been doing many deals for platform exclusives, when a particular game is released e.g. Metro Exodus the only place you can buy it is on Epic games instead of it being available on Steam or Origin too, if one of them happens to be your favorite games market..

    I think grab as many free games as you can but as for purchases, support another store.

        EA Origin have recently made many of their games available on Steam, I don't believe Steam buy exclusives it is simply the developers deciding to use their platform

          Developers are simply deciding to use EGS for more money. Sif you wouldn't do the same thing.

            @ozbargainer88: A golden handshake from Tim Sweeney (Epic) would be great but my fans who have been playing my games on steam/origin all these years would be pretty annoyed at me, If I was good to my fans I would try and release my game on as many platforms as I can.

          @gfunk zero: Have a read of the T&Cs on the Steam website - you will find out many interesting things re Steam´s business practices. Also google court decisions involving Steam - more interesting things to know.

      Those Epic store "exclusives" are generally timed, though.

      If you don't want to buy it from Epic you can just wait a while and get it on Steam or whatever later on when it release there.

      Your prime example, Metro Exodus (among other "exclusives") is available for purchase on Xbox Store for PC (athough that is a shitty store).

      Metro Exodus is even on Xbox Game Pass for PC.

      Myself, I think 30% storefront cuts are bad for the industry.
