    Which to be honest, is fine on a Chromebook at this size (the only time I'd ever say 720p is fine)

    The resolution is fine and to be expected at this size and price point but TN is just so painful to look at from anywhere but dead centre.

  I have a Chrome box and a stick, both good for web browsing on larger TV screen, also have a VPN for access to US NETFLIX etc

  Whilst it sounds like a decent deal for the spec, I think Amazon has the best deal at the moment on <$300 (net of rebates/gift cards) Chromebooks with the superior C340/S340 models at $337 less $100 Amazon credit: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/514904
