nationwide - grabbed some this morning. Quilton still the best, waiting for them to go on sale. They're nice and thick and don't rip when you go wipe your arse getting stains all over your hands (sorry to be graphic)

Dont dig your fingernails into the toilet paper while wiping a wet poopy arse. I've never had a rip with the Cottonelle range and actually prefer it to the Quilton 3 Ply we're using now. Quilton feels like im rubbing cardboard on my bum. Too thick and no softness.

Agreed with Quilton being the best, though that's probably too much information.
Saying that though, Kleenex for 42 cents a roll, pretty good value for money, will be trying to pick some up over the weekend, unless they run out of stock. Ala the last time they had a super special on facial tissues.
Why would you buy kleenex when you can get Quilton at 42cents a roll as well.

This is the best toilet paper out there at the moment. USED to also be a Quilton supporter but have made the move to Kleenex 2 years back and have never looked back. Once you hook it up to the roll holder and start pulling those first few sheets you know you have the best : nice texture, strong, nice cuts between sheets, no bad off cuts and very smooth on the backside whether your a folder or scruncher! i find this also breaks down if you happen to block the loo once in awhile where as quilton will burrow in there and hibernate and will require you to use your HANDy skills lol. Nothing but the best except no imitations.

I find that quilton when on sale i get alot of bad rolls. Papers not straight i think its what they called off cuts?? or something like that.

It's at Neutral Bay, Sydney, NSW too - but the main sticking point is that it's COTTONELLE - which rips and tears at the slightest touch. In other words this TP is a POS.

Yeah agreed - I buy this all the time, it's 50c a roll when on special, never seen it anywhere less.

About 4 weeks back I got a 24 pack of Kleenex Cottonelle from my local Woolies (NSW) for $8.99. That was great and definitely beats this deal. Still a good deal though.
Surely not..? Never seen it anywhere less than 50c a roll (and that's when it's on special), and for some weird reason I check almost every time I go shopping.

Never tried my wife's T-shirts…but point taken - too thick and that tactile sensation is lost, making for a hit-and-miss cleanup.
Costco is cheaper….
you people buy toilet paper???? You know you can spray newspaper with fabric softener and let it dry, it comes out soft. You can make some BIG savings too and it stops kids wasting too much doing over wipes. If you have septic tanks don't flush the paper away, will have to be burn't or put out with the rubbish or it will clog.

but you gotta factor in the extra petrol used to get down to costco compared to going to your local woolies. Plus last time I went to costco (NSW) the check-out lines snaked around the whole store right up to the opposite wall.
