Always wanted a second cylinder so I don't have to run off to the shops when I run out.

Big cylinder will most likely be cheaper, but not much space in the kitchen
Yes and No, depends on your needs and usage.
Although big cylinders work for some, others might have space/weight/convenience requirements.
How much are they and how do you refill them?

$15 for the adaptor, currently $67 for a full 2.5kg cylinder. Then you can just get them refilled at a local homebrew/kegging supplier (probably even Boc) for about $25. Using Sodastream swap and go you're paying $19 for 400g. You can go with a bigger cylinder and it gets cheaper again but 2.5g is big enough.
Those saying you don't have space, it doesn't stay on the kitchen bench. You can put it away in a cupboard, garage etc just like an LPG cylinder. Probably takes up less space than 5 spare sodastream bottles!
Didn't realise that the big cylinder didn't have to be tethered to the Sodastream device. TIL

Just cam back from Woolworths Winston Hills (NSW) and they were the regular price of $35
Haven't been to my local Woolies in almost a week or more.
Been using up a Coles gift card credit I got from new work as a bonus gift from the boss which was a small nice gesture but yeah if I see it in my next shop no idea when I will let you know or report back here.

Have seen this price for the last 3 weeks in the Brisbane CBD metro store.
