Gardein Crispy Chick’n Patties 352g (Vegan) $5.50 (Was $11) @ Woolworths

1290

Gardein’s normally sell for $12-$14 in health food stores. Didn’t know Woolies sold them. The other ones in the range weren’t half price so these might be probably on clearance. Each packet is 352 grams
Quite a nice tasting product in my view. Not as bland/dry as some of the other vegan patties in the market currently.

Not a huge fan of these (tasted bland) much prefer Fry’s or Sanitarium.

Is this supposed to be tasting like chicken (hence the name)?

For veggie patties (without mock meat), I any day prefer the ones that Hungry Jack's vegan burger has (I reckon made of potato and other veggies), or the bubble 'n squeak one. Not sure if the latter is vegan though. Not a big fan of lentil based patties - potato ones taste much better.

This brand is what Lord Of The Fries uses.

Plenty of soy in these, so they're great if you want to go from a cup to b cup in man boob size.

Except that the estrogen found in plants is actually called phytoestrogen which reduces the effects and acts as a blocker against estrogen but don’t let the truth and studies get in the way of a good story!

All of the men I see with man boobs eat animal products, or at least did when they developed them.

      • Very scientific statement. Must be just the meat alone causing obesity.. couldn't be all the sugar and carbs they eat and drink along with it.

        • It was a joke, in response to a joke that had nothing to do with science.
