  • Couldn't see any deal mentioning this coupon

Couldn't see any cafes within 5km of me accepting Hey You

    • Move cities?

      • +11

They're way too big to move.

  • Code works for me, thanks Op

    • Did you get the email ?

      • No

        • +1

Code will work but if you are not targeted, it wont be honoured. I got a notification about a promotion last time and it worked but since I didnt get the email, they didnt honour despite I got a screenshot of the notification. They have very poor customer service.

Prefer the skip discounts, at least you get the money back straight away. This is too complicated :-p

    • They work out to be about the same, 33% vs 30%. Skip doesn't apply to coffee though so that's a problem for me.

      • Less than 33% is there is a minimum spent condition on the credit back. But I agree why not using both. There is 30% off skip today/tmr. As long as you buy food, you can sneak in a coffee in the order I get the discount too.

  • Quite unprofessional support team. Used the similar offer last time but never recieved the cash back had to raise a support ticket asking to honour the deal. I wonder how many of us use this deal expecting that we will get cash back automatically but seems like you have to raise a support case.

      Mine's always been applied automatically

      • mine too

    • I did their order on 5 days offer last week and credit was automatically applied.

Also contacted support about one vendor who had accepted crazy numbers of orders resulting in a 15 minute queue for coffees. They refunded my order and seem to have terminated the vendor's account.

I'd consider both experiences to be pretty good.

      • That's nothing. With Ritual they had $1 lunches and I had to wait nearly 45 minutes for a souvlaki, it was bonkers to witness 40+ people standing around.

I added this offer to my order, and it always pays to take a screenshot. The $5 is yet to be added to my balance.

        • Vouchers earned will be distributed via email on Monday afternoon 03/02/20

    • Don’t think it’s worth the neg. Three times I’ve done this promo I had to request the payment via email but all came through within a few hours after emailed support. I’m happy to have to do that.

I was not targeted, so contacted support and have email proof advising this offer available to all customers. Credit will be applied Feb 3rd in the afternoon, max $15 voucher. If anyone go ahead with this and credit refused, holler at me and I will provide email.

    • Yo - hmu

Does everyone get the credit 3rd or do I have to ask?

      • Yo yo,

HMU up too please, I emailed them and they said it's only available to those who got the email =(

        Hope this helps.

    • Can you send me the e-mail? They've refused to provide the credit :(

nvm, getting them to delete my account. Coupon should have never been applied in the 1st place to be rejected later.

        Not using them again.

          • @ToiletKitchen: Thanks mate, they ended up giving me the voucher after sending them this as proof.

            Poor Romil..

            • @PoRKroLL: Your welcome buddy. Curious to know if Romil was incorrect or Hey You pulling a Nicola Gobbo……..may never know.
In this day and age, technomology systems should say, hey, coupon not valid for you. If it adds then you are eligible, simples.
              Cheers. Glad I could help.

            • @PoRKroLL: They rejected me, but I managed to get a $1 coupon (only asked for service fee back)

    • Please can you send me a copy of the email since support are saying I wasn’t targeted and won’t receive the $5

    • Could you please fwd me the email too? Sorry!

    • Could you please send me the email as well

  • The referral is not even working. Still showing $0 after applying the code

  • Anyone got their voucher yet?

    • Nothing yet.

      • nothing here either. terms say 'vouchers earned will be distributed via email on Monday afternoon 03/02/20"

        • Nada here as well… Have sent support an email!

    • Yep :)

  • No email for me

  • Here we go again indeed:

‘Thanks for taking the time to reach out.

Please be advised that this promotion can only be availed by customers who received the email regarding this promotion.

I've already checked our system and it seems you did not received this email.

Rest assured, we still have a lot of promotions coming your way.

    Just stay tuned.

    Regards,
    Arwin’

  • I got in touch with them and they manually gave me $5 credit through a custom voucher so you might get lucky.

  • Anyone else have luck with $5 manual credit?

    • The same ‘Romil’ that sent the email above about it being available to everyone wrote to me asking if I got the email and I actually sent him a screenshot from my app that told me about the deal. He never wrote back so no credit yet. Just emailed the email from above, see how it goes.

      • They refused to give me the credit even after sending the email.

        • I just got mine. It was a battle for $10. It came with a huge email about how it wasnt meant for every one. I replied saying it was 'non-inclusive in nature' haha, and they should aim to reward those users who use Hey You more often.

Pathetic customer service. Admitted fault and refuse to honor promo. Bye Hey You.

          • @ToiletKitchen: Wow you would think they would at least honour it for you given they provided the incorrect advice…

      • Hey that is piss poor. Unless different people with same name(doubt it), they should honor it, and realise they have poor communication/systems/policy/procedure in place.
I would ask to speak to management, and if not resolved do chargeback on CC and then leave Hey You.

        • Funny cause an employee with a different name actually granted me the $10 credit. Maybe he was in a better mood.

  • Maybe we should all change our names to Denis so that we can all get this promotion. lol

  • Update: contacted support again, and guess who responded…….Anyways attached is response. Think it fair to say spread the word and cancel Hey You accounts……

    • What a way to lose customers. Thanks though for giving us a shot with the screenshot.
Time to close my account and demand a refund of the balance, although I wouldn't be surprised if they say Sorry no can do, read our T&Cs.

      • exactly what I was thinking. Your welcome. I too have $5 credit with them, and responded saying when I do finally use it, expect me to request to close my account, because of this poor customer service. I never got the email in question, hence why I emailed them. Lucky for me I never used it. I think this was just a scam to boost revenue(typical short term vision when in a bit of trouble…..)

  • I got my credit automatically :)
