I have $10 "Courtesy Credit" which I can't seem to remove. Will I still qualify if I use it?

      • +1

I have a $10 promotional credit I need to use soon, will I still get the 12% cashback on the remaining spend or not at all if I use it.

      • +1

        Unfortunately no.

      • +2

        Cashrewards works for promotional credit!

        • How do you know? I have the same issue with my promotional credit from a previous deal. Was about to use ShopBack until I read that the 12% won’t apply.

          • @BargainJunkie: My bad, I didn't mean to say that you will receive cashback on the promotional credit, but using it won't void your remaining cashback with Cashrewards, unlike Shopback. ie, if you buy a $100 (pre-GST) product with $10 credit, you will receive cashback on the remaining $90.

        • Maybe, but it doesn't work for Gift Cards:

Gift Cards, Vouchers, Charity, Non-Profit items, Audible, Mobile Apps, Kindle Unlimited, Subscribe & Save purchases, and Amazon Prime memberships are ineligible for Cashback.
          Source: https://www.cashrewards.com.au/amazon-australia

          • @expatOz: Did you figure out how to remove the $10 credit?

            • +1

@BargainJunkie: Yes, just edit the payment type and uncheck promotional credit and/or gift card balance.

    • Is there anymore of this coming for Valentine's day? I need to get a valentine's gift for gf.

Still waiting on my Black Friday cashbacks πŸ™

    • +1

      Cashrewards, it's your turn now

    • Eta on my Black Friday transactions are 13/14 February
      Keep on waiting

    • +11

Hi BallR - Cashback for Amazon Black Friday purchases is expected to clear after 75 days. You should see the expected confirmation date on every relevant transaction. Unfortunately we need to wait for Amazon's return/exchange/cancellation period to lapse before they are able to confirm cashback for all eligible orders.

      Available by 13 Feb 2020

    • I'm waiting for $65. It keeps disappearing and reappearing in the app so I've taken screenshots in case they pull a fast one.

      • +1

I've had absolutely zero issues with them doing anything like this. Even if it's not recorded, it's very easy to submit a claim and I haven't had any issues with doing so.

  • Perfect timing, thanks for the heads up!

  • +13

That sad feeling when you just ordered something from Amazon yesterday and it has already shipped :(

    • +3

      There's always

      • +12

        one

        • two

      • …a bigger fish?

    • That happy feeling when you sit on the can with 3 or 4 ply Quilton shipped in a MEGA AMAZON box :)

      • +5

What the heck is with their packaging. Ordered 4 small products and each arrived on the same day in 4 separate medium to large boxes!!!
I had 2 recent products arrive each int heir own large box, then they had a smaller supplier brown box from the manufacturer, and then within that brown box then they had the standard colourful retail box!! Which ofcourse of full of the standard retail packaging!!

I like Amazon, but they need to work with suppliers to reduce packaging. (yes I would complain if the item was damaged, but this is excessive)

        • +1

Can't relate, everything I've bought from them has come in 1 box ( even the bigger things)

    • Sigh, $160 worth for me.

    • I’m feeling it

    • +1

The want it now generation…..go without until it appears on OzBargain. :)

    • +1

Lol, forget shipped, it was already at my doorstep :P

    • If only there was an emoticon for it.

  • +1

Is there a limit to the number of purchases?

    • +5

      No limit

      • +1

        Thanks

  • 12% cashback applies for phone purchase as well?

      • +4

$50 is the maximum of the cashback. There are many phones under $416.67 (GST excluded) or $458.33 (GST included) :)

      • Aiming to buy Galaxy A50, only if cashback is 12%.

  • +2

Thanks, just pre-ordered Persona 5R, which only just makes it into the 60 day window!

PS. Don't forget to combine it with the $2 bonus

    • I was about to ask whether we were in the window for P5R, shame it doesn't work with the $5 prime preorder discount.

  • -1

Pity the price is higher through the app was going to buy a Nintendo switch but it's $445 when I log in through the cashback app. Going straight to Amazon it's $399.

    • +2

The search results may be showing you a different seller/variation for the item which is why you're seeing different prices.

      • +1

It's the same item, I have it saved via wishlist.

        • +3

You don't have to shop through the app. If you're trying to pair it with the $2 bonus, you only need to redeem the code through the app first, then you can shop via desktop or mobile site.

          • +1

@OzBargain F5er: Looks like the actual price has bumped on Amazon as of 20 mins ago. Go figure.

            • @retro7: Aw man, that sucks

The $50 item I wanted went up by $2 yesterday

  • +1

    Expiry date?

  • +1

Time to cancel my pre-orders and order again.

    • What are you pre ordering?

      • Animal Crossing New Horizons

      • Pokemon Mystery Dungeon & Animal Crossings.

      • +4

Animal Crossing and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon.

No time for kiddy games like Doom

  • So I can do multiple transactions right? but the total cashback for this deal will be capped at $50?

Also I'm looking to pre-order persona 5 royal which releases on the 31st march, is today counted as part of the 60 days or will I be able to claim cashback on it?

    • I am on same boat. Waiting for confirmation

    • +1

$50 per transaction. Within 60 days includes today so you miss out cashback by a day.

      • Amazon normally ships a day or two before the release date so I think this should be ok?

        • If they do then it's fine. But that's the risk if you're willing to take it.

      • Are we still eligible for cashback with Amazon's $5 discount on pre-orders (if release is within the 60 day window)?

      • How does the whole 'within 60 days' thing work with regard to pre-orders?

Does Amazon reject the cashback on their end if they don't charge you for the game within 60 days?

        • Yes spot on.

          • @gotyourback: Unfortunate timing, a couple of games I want to pre-order are just outside the 60 day window.

I'll just have to go out into the garden and do a bonus cashback rain dance in March.

      • woah per transaction? so we can do multiple transactions and claim $50 each and ultimately claim more than $50 if we do 2 transactions of $500? or nah?

    • It will be okay, Feb is a short month so you save a couple of days there too.

      • This year feb is slightly longer with 29 days :)

  • How long till invite credit clears?

    • Click on the "Pending" link for relevant invite credit cashback entry and it should indicate so and if any other outstanding criteria needs to be met in order for it to clear.

      • "Pending Redeemable Cashback" is unclear.

  • Has anybody managed to get a receipt and claim Samsung Cashback by buying from an approved seller on Amazon? I know with eBay they send out vendor specific receipts but I'm not sure if that happens on Amazon too.

  • will cashback work if you pay with zippay?

  • +1

    Nice one πŸ‘πŸ»

Though I notice prices went up today ( paying for all those cheap echos?). Any bargains??? πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ

    • +1

The item I was holding out for went up by $2 yesterday, interesting

  • Thanks OP, been holding out for this!

  • crap. I waited ages for this and finally gave up a few days ago. Hmm.

  • +1

When does the Deliveroo promo expire?

  • +1

Is $50 redemption per transaction for Amazon?

    • I don't understand the question?

      • +1

he's asking if he can make multiple transactions and get $50 for each one, or if it's $50 total capped.

        • Oh yes, sorry for not being clear. I meant to ask whether $50 cap applies for each transaction or for the day

          • +1

@lyoo01: Answer is unlimited $50 cap transactions. This was asked previously earlier above and confirmed

    • +1

Read the thread above, maximum $50 cashback at 12% so… About $400-$500 spend to get $50 back

  • -1

OMFG I just spent $100 with amazon yesterday!

    • I spent $545 on a pair of headphones on Monday thinking this deal was not coming back any time soon.

  • +3

Anyone who wants a Synology ds918+, there are two in stock for $647. With cash back will be under $600

    • Thanks, got one for $590

      • 590?

        647*0.88 = 569.

        Am I missing something?

        • +3

          $50 cap

          • @jooncheez: Ahhh….. Thanks

  • Thank you! Just used. :)

  • +2

ryzen 3600 becomes ~$253 after this!

    • Snagged one with a pair of corsair rams

  • +7

In case anybody wonders how Amazon can pay for this… try selling on Amazon, worse than ebay on fees

  • +1

I got a camel camel camel notification for 8TB Seagate for $132. Must be a price error!

But I ordered before they took it down plus this 12% cashback. So $120 8TB hopefully! (Unless they cancel my order)

    • USD or AUD?
      Must be a price error.

      • +2

AUD. def a price error. I got an order through before it was removed. Seller was amazon au

      • +1

Got it delivered today FYI :D

  • +4

Got stuff through shopback for the boxing day sales for the first time. Followed the instructions but 2 out of 3 transactions didn't show up in my withdrawal history including Amazon.. Will give shopback a miss :(

    • Thank's for letting us know.

    • You can lodge a claim through your Shopback account an they'll track it down for you.

  • +1

    I bought WF-1000XM3. Traveling soon.

If my maths is correct, after cashback and a price protection claim and TRS, I'm paying $207.20 in the end. Not as good as $175 but I didn't have to buy two of them.

  • TLDR. When does this expire?

  • +2

The best item I found to combine with this deal and the $2 deal is the Lavazza Oro 500g coffee beans for $8 (or ground coffee beans).

  • only got $2.78 pending in my shopback from buying smash bros for $68, so about 4%. no biggie though
