What does everyone think about this deal? Is it worth it? I'm about to get a new computer for uni and not sure if this is a good option.
It is decent. If you want raw power then no it is not. If you want decent specs and aesthetics and portability then it is ok.
Yep looks amazing for Uni - only 1kg! Claims really good battery life. Good screen - should be perfect portable laptop for students. Even has a small graphics card for what its worth. EDIT: Screen isn't all that bright according to reviews - the main compromise from what I could see.
Why not get the lenovo e595

A little heavier at 1.3KG than the Asus, but considerable savings. I would get this if I needed one
I think I saw a review on this saying the battery life (a key factor for me) is trash
