12V and Ni-Cad…. and another brand of cordless tool to have batteries and chargers for. It's cheap but I wouldn't want it even if it was free

    • Yeah, haven't seen that abbreviation in writing for a while hey. I actually had to double-take! Cadmium might be making big comeback :p

yeah dont buy nicad unless you like throwing this crap out

  • good price,if they have any stock… this is a good marketing trick for any company…

    Ni-Cad, just don't bother

  • No in-store stock, no delivery, no deal.

    Please nobody buy this:
    1) 12v tools are not up to the task unless it's going to be used as a cordless screwdriver into soft materials.
    2) Ni-Cad batteries are notorious for degrading over time (especially when not looked after).
    3) The plastic chucks on these will inevitably quit before the motor… no chuck means no drill.

If you after a cheap drill… buy the Ozito 18v power x range.

Ah the old NiCad, wouldn't be surprised if the batteries were on their way out already.
For any DIYer thinking of getting this you would be better off with a cheap Ozito PowerXchange or Aldi Exfinity 18v drill. At least you can expand to range to garden/other tools down the track if need be

  • No stock anywhere in Perth SOR.

Save your money. NiCad have memory effect.
If you are just ever going to drill one hole. Go for it.
