    Where's the bargain?

  • +2

    Recyclable

yeah, because that makes them so much less annoying and wasteful ;)

  • +1

    Coles lost the collectible game

Coles. You've got it all wrong.
Having a recycling bin in store while the promotion is going on isn't going to do much at all.
Those who don't want them, won't collect them.
Those who do, their kids will collect them until the end of the promotion and maybe keep them a few weeks after that..
So how long will these bins be kept there for?

Plastic bags pollute, we have to stop using them.
But don't worry, here are the STIKEEZ!

Oh and btw, where is the deal? Free garbage?

    • +1

Agreed. I'm not paying for garbage

    • +1

Oh the hypocrisy is real. Agreed.

    • This guy gets it.

  • So Coles wants more staff to be abused by shoppers now.

  • Very creative marketing ( recycled )

  • Why do people complain about everything? Clearly some people like them thus the reason they’re doing them again.
Just because you’re a sad sack and they don’t appeal to you.

    • +4

For the simple reason this is garbage and will create useless landfill. Not good for the environment which we are everyday destroying, simple.

I didn't complain about the Woolies discovery garden, the Coles containers or the glassware credits. I didn't even complain about the Christmas cut outs Woolies did, even though they were literally bits of paper/cardboard.

      Clearly some people like them

I hope you realise that targeting kids is one of (if not the) most effective way of marketing. I don't know anyone over the age of 12 who is glad they are back, but many will still collect them because "mummy look there's new ones!"

Kids growing up these days are going to be so confused.
"Why do we have to bring our own plastic bags mummy?"
Because they help reduce plastic waste.
What will they think when they get older and realise the exact same place was setting a double standard?

Anything for foot traffic and profits.

    • I think some sad sacks negged you!!
But I have a feeling you're expecting it.
      Sad sacks, LOL!!

      • Haha. I don’t know why things like this grind people’s gears. If they don’t want the stikeez don’t take them. Simple

  • Rubbish.

  • Rubbish (literally).

there’s even a petition to get rid of these on change

    complete garbage

  • Not sure where the deal is here? An ever better way to pollute?

  • Matty Mushroom does NOT look kid safe.

    • Colon Cucumber is not safe for adults!!
