      Esky is a specific brand. Calling any other brand an Esky is actually trademark infringement and oh boy can they sue for a lot.

          You're perfectly safe doing that, but a company like MyDeal or CUB can't because they're commercial.

          And here in Australia, it's still a cooler - you can call it an esky if you want (it rolls off the tongue easier) but that doesn't change what it is.
