I am shocked this hasn't been posted yet and was equally as shocked that there are still some available today after I picked mine up almost 2 weeks ago when they opened!

Not sure if other JB stores will price match, but worth a try. I know for a fact EB price matched them based off a quick phone call to the store.

Signs say limited time offer, but as I said it's been going for almost 2 weeks now.

The link shows what you get included and the usual price of $399. Mine didn't come with the Children of Eden freebie that seems to be coming with the bundle now, so I'd say the rest are the same.

      The bundle at $249 comes with one game "Kinect Adventures". This is a sale price of $249 so you go in and buy it or alternatively other stores should be able to price match by giving them a call.

    whats the wireless quality like built into these new xboxes? the wireless usb addon on the older xboxes like mine is mediocre at times. anyone have experiences with these new ones?

        Thanks Dr, I was about the say the exact same thing. FYI Traralgon is about two hours out of Melbourne if you have to come out to purchase it. I would try price matching first over the phone.

    Traralgon is really far though (from Melbourne). I remember I went there once and I was the only Asian there. The people there are so nice though.

    Local JB Hi-Fi advised that the deal is exclusive to Traralgon as a store opening special. No other JB Hi-Fi's can match. If anyone can get a store in Brissy to match, please post.

    has anyone gotten any melbourne stores to price ive tried a few to no prevail they say only match local stores , tried harvey norman also and they said it had to be local but last time my mate got a price match from an advertised store base in wa and that was on a plasma

    Today I went on a bit of a road trip down to Traralgon with a friend. We each picked up one bundle. There were only five remaining after we purchased these two. You may be able to find stock in K-Mart and price match, read on for details.

    Price Matching:

    RMH's receipt is considered too old to price match with, at K-Mart anyway. I'll upload mine shortly.

    • JB Hi-Fi will not price match the Traralgon store because the $249 price is a new store special.

    • K-Mart will price match although RMH's receipt is deemed to be too old to price match with. As a result they will want to contact the Traralgon store and they're not open late. Also don't expect them to be particularly happy about it…

    • Dick Smith don't seem to stock the bundle.

    • Big W don't seem to stock the bundle (at least not the one I visited).

    • Harvey Normon I didn't check.

    • EB Games don't stock the bundle.

    Aside from getting your hands on the remaining stock in Traralgon your best bet would be to try find remaining stock at K-Mart and price match.

      Because this receipt is dated 03/09/2011 and doesn't include the slight $399 price mix up on rmh's receipt it should be a lot easier to price match with, good luck!

    Hi all. Thought I'd share my experience. Took this receipt http://img29.imageshack.us/img29/2264/jbxbox360clean.jpg to Kmart in Moonie Ponds and they wouldn't match it. Then called Kmart Northcote and they said they would do a price match but would probably need to call the store to verify. Went there after work and spoke talked to the rep. She went and got me an Xbox from out back and called the manager for the match. They didn't even bother to call JB and then told me that they would beat the other price by 10%, so I got the same bundle for $229 (got one for a mate too as it was such a good deal).

    Awesome deal and they still have some in stock so get there quick

      Thanks for sharing, but I've tried your receipt with the Kmart at Chadstone, the guy over there said that this is impossible, and they are not obliged to match it. Has anyone tried this with another store?

        Try using the JB HI FI receipt from Saturday in the other link. I have no idea why they gave me the 10% of difference discount but I wasn't complaining. Also the Northcote still has stock as far as I know so try there. Good luck!
