  • Wait, they play ads on this rip off service as well?

I had it last year for the Cricket World Cup. I've worked on a lot of apps, and my goodness it's polished. I mean they're a company and blah blah ads money corporate, but wow, it's a nice interface. Everything just worked!

I used for the RWC and it was glorious in 4k

        • I wasn't aware Kayo had 4k? Are you sure this is correct?

      • The app needs to be expanded to other platforms including Xbox One. It's really disappointing they haven't done this yet.

What exactly is the rip off? It's a butt tonne of sport for $25. You got a better service to suggest?

Kayo is a bad, poorly optimized service with ads, at nearly twice the price of other streaming services.
Kayo is the only streaming service that is almost unwatchable due to the skipping and choppy playback, even for non-live viewing…on NBN 100/40 with low latency to their servers.
    Monopolies are great aren't they?

    • Twice the price of which sports streaming service? A mate and I pay $12.50 each per month. And I have almost never had skipping or choppy playback in the year plus I have had it and I'm on 50/12 NBN (and sometimes that's with two Kayo streams and a Netflix stream). Definately not perfect, as the UI/search could use some work, but nothing else comes close for sport IMO.

  • If you're an Apple user, use App Store vouchers when they are 20% off and pay via an In App Purchase for that sweet discount on Kayo.

  • If we cancel the subscription, does it cancel straight away? Or at the end of the paid period?
