I've tried this before. Works well.
PDF Password Remover is a windows software tool that removes PDF owner password and PDF restriction or limitation. You only need to drag the locked PDF files onto the PDF Password Remover program then it will start removing restrictions instantly. If you have a user password protected PDF and you know the password, you can also remove the user password protection.       I'm gonna say, from an educated standpoint, 'Yep'.
      About the only way it could work, like RAR, I'm not aware of any backdoor the made it into PDF.

      No, it only removes the password if you already know the password. It's is a bit pointless.
      As long as the file allows you to print it you can try something like Bullzip pdf printer.

    I would have thought the PDF software creators would be pretty quick to close a loophole that allows such easy decryption.

      If you have the full version of Adobe Acrobat it will do the exact same thing as this software, it won't and can't break into PDF encryption.

      I'm sure the developers thought they could trick people with a cool name but soon realised not everyone is that dumb.

    1. It only removes the password after you PUT THE PASSWORD IN! So you need to know what the password is.. LOL

    2. You can only register it once. Eg. if I shared my download with you, it would turn my copy back into a trial.

    If you're after a password remover that doesn't actually require the password then this is NOT for you.

    Yes I should have read the description before installing but the title is misleading.

      The name is deceptive, but I can't think of another name the developers could've used, so I don't really blame them.
      The deal still gets a neg so people don't end up downloading this software for the wrong purpose - decryption of PDF files.
      Ironically, OP's username is Transparent yet this deal is everything but.

    If you already know the password why not just print it to pdf? It won't have a password anymore.
