Wanted to purchase this a few years ago as a gift but gave up as it was like $150 back then. I still consider $79.95 to be expensive, but as a gift, I'm happy to take the discount. Gen 2/Black colour is available, but the price is still high up there.

    Latte Larry.

    • Mocha Joe will get you

    • For $80 I'd rather take my chances with racist Alsatian.

According to camelx3, this is the RRP and has been so since last year? It’s dropped several times to $71.95, so not sure how this is a bargain?

    • Yeah I thought this rrp also. The bigger mug is wildly expensive, but this one had been this price a bunch recently.

Good op though, it's an hilarious bit of kit

When I first checked during 2018 its around $150. Didn't know it went as low as $71.95 ~ Thanks for the research, I'll double check next time I post.

      • Thanks for reminding me it exists though. I’ve put it on my watch list to see if it drops in price again. I’d completely forgot about them since it came out 2 years ago.

Why would you buy this over an insulated bottle?

Or, over say, a train, which I could also afford?

      • Bluetooth. Lol

Thanks, I'll use that thumbnail picture to calibrate my monitor's settings.

    • Comment had me curious, result did not disappoint

  • Couldn't you just buy an electric <$10 fragrance wax oil heater to put your cups on to keep it warm/hot?

Sure no battery for cup but who sips on tea or coffee for 1 hour?

  • If only this had a self-stirring function.

There are never any teaspoons in the office kitchen.

    • I swear there's one person in every office. Just one. Their aim is to collect all of the spoons.

Bought 1 for the wife. This is perfect for her.
She likes to drink coffee but likes to "savor" it. So she ends up drinking cold coffee an hour later, or totally forgets about it until the evening.

  • Bought one for my wife, she likes to sew and doesn't always get to her tea before it cools.

If you're wondering why this is an interesting product, I'd suggest you watch James Hoffman's review (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8pPCMjqI_uw). He had some high praise for this, while admitting it will only be useful to a small number of people.
