Pretty good price for a 50inch 4K TV. Good for anyone looking for a 2nd or 3rd TV.

            • @SyNeRgYi: Also try what I said in a previous comment about downloading a 4k video in to a usb to test in the tv.

            • @SyNeRgYi: Sorry synergy, puff is correct about adjusting the screen resolution through the menu. The xbox 360 does not do 4k. A quick google search says the xbox 360 supports a maximum resolution of 1080p.

  • Anyone know how long you have to collect a pick up order from the store? Working interstate so wondering how long I have to pick up before they cancel it.

  • Is this TV better than this one i got from last year on Black Friday?

I think that Black Friday deal on the Soniq for $399 was a great deal too. Especially since it was delivered, slightly bigger and Chromecast built in. Both great deals IMO.

Just bought one. Replacing 32” lg led tv. Hope it’s a good decision. Can’t control pulled the trigger

Thank you for sharing your story with us. Good luck.

    • Picked up yesterday. Amazing picture quality, really worth for this money.

  • A nice little unit at a good price, now to see if it can last me 3 years like my kogan tv.

Though for some reason my chromecast ultra isn't triggering 4k 60Hz on the tv, only 30Hz. And with "surround sound" off on the TV my chromecast still thinks its playing with surround sound, and disabling phone volume adjustment on plex. No way to fix that I think.

Edit: 60Hz working now, need to set UHD to Enhanced.

  • Wow, these are cheaper than 32" monitors. Shame my room is too small to be using these.

  • Crazy price.

Cannot even get a monitor for that price.

    Maybe use for a monitor?

  • Has anyone been able to program the Fetch TV remote to work this tv?

  • Anyone know if these are set-up for demo in store? Also, as others have asked, any comments on input lag?

    • +1

A quick and dirty way to check input lag is to connect a laptop over HDMI, mirror the screen, launch a stopwatch (e.g. Google) and take a photo with both screens in frame (compare the time on the TV with the laptop in the photo). Not expecting anything amazing though :/.

Nothing crazy when playing smash bros on my switch. Just maybe ensure you have extra processing off, like "noise reduction". No explicit game mode though (but devices can request this with HDMI, so it might do it under the covers).

  • Damn I got my 32 hisense for only alittle cheaper and its a smart tv with Netflix, Stan and YT which I'm very happy with since I use those features daily.

This seems like a good deal. Not sure if they deliver though or if my TV stand is bid enough lol

    I'm so drunk rn.
Hey sober me. Happy Christmas, enjoy big tv

A 2nd or 3rd TV… for who? Someone in a housing commision? I see this TV being useful for CCTV in 7-11s, or playing Days of our Lives in hospital ER waiting rooms.

  • Just picked up one at Good Guys Thomastown. Gave it to me for $278. Gift carded from Telstra deals =)

  • Just picked mine up and a dead pixel right in the centre of the screen. Damn!

In the short time I've had it on the horizontal viewing angle is not so great. You definitely have to be sitting in the centre to be getting a nice contrasted picture, otherwise it looks a bit washed out. I had the tv up high in my room and the vertical viewing angle seems to be fine from laying in my bed.

    • That's a shame puff. Did you manage to get the TV replaced yet?

      • Yeah, took it back the same day. Pain in the arse to box it all back up again and drive back. They replaced it not a problem.

  • Also bought one today. I will have it delivered this coming weekend. Thanks for posting this deal OP!

  • Just bought this, watching godzilla on netflix how to get rid of the black bars on the top and bottom? i tried zoom2 but it cuts the sides off…?

  • Showing as $399 on the GG site at the moment? Deal expired?

    • +1

      Ended on the 1st mate.

      • That'll do it! Thanks for confirming.

  • Have a stuck white pixel which is super annoying, hoping it can be returned, also image artifacting but that may be Vodafone TV.

    • +1

Should be ok. I had a dead pixel and returned it not a problem. They didn't even check it. They just gave me a new one.

      • Yeah cheers new one is fine luckily

It's a pretty below average tv, I guess you get what you pay for. The motion blur is subpar and obviously. Lighting is poor Aswell. Overall not the biggest fan, but J use it for a treadmill so it suffices.
