3000 Bonus Qantas Points When You Book a Hearing Test (Ages 26 and Over) @ Audika

1180

Thought this would help some members out. Unfortunately I've already had the hearing test in January when there were only 1000 QFF bonus points on offer. With the latest deal, there are 3000 QFF points on offer.

Just need to book and go for a hearing test within the period specified. You are basically taken into a room with a computer, put on some headphones and listen to beeping sounds at different volumes (or in some cases, there would be no beeps at all which you have to identify). The test takes about 10 minutes and is free (probably worth specifying you want to book for the basic 10 minute test at the time of booking, I do believe there is an extended test that takes about 45 minutes that may be chargeable).

Simply present your QFF membership number at your appointment and receive the bonus 3000 points. Not bad for 10 minutes of work.

  • How much is the test mate?

    • +31

      What?

      • +12

I SAID, HOW MUCH IS THE… oh.

      • +1

        @g452's comment needs more upvotes

        • I do hope people have been reading this in their very best inner Brian Blessed voice ;)

    • +2

Free if you just tell them you want the standard 10 minute basic test :)

I believe there is more extensive 45 minute one but no need to do that one for the points.

      • That 45 minute one is also free btw.

  • It mentions "if you've never had your hearing checked", I'm deaf in one ear so have had it done most years since birth :(

  • +1

"FREE hearing checks are only available to adults aged 26 years or older."

    Well, I'm out

    • +4

I qualify for the age part… Adult part probably debatable… Might be out too.

    • Coz people under 26 must be seen by the government’s sole hearing service provider.

    • Does it mean Adults that are 26 years old and older OR does it mean adults that have aged a y least 26 years. I.e. 44 years old and older

  • +3

Which manufacturer or distributor are they aligned with?

    • William Demant, a Dutch company.

    • Oticon

  • +1

If you have hearing problem, they will let you go freely? Or we have to listen (I mean read) their sales pitch?

    • +1

There was no sales pitch for me, but they did say the audio specialist will look at the results and might call you back later if there is anything concerning to come back for the more extensive test.

You don't have to go back for the more extensive test, you will see get the points if you attend just the initial appointment.

      • +1

But if you genuinely have hearing problems wouldn’t it make sense to get it professionally checked?

        • Sure!

  • Also has a note - Hearing Services Program subsidies are only available to eligible clients. Conditions apply under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program.

You'll have to speak up, I'm wearing a towel

  • +1

I am 26 but not over - did I hear that right?

  • +7

BUTTLICKER, OUR PRICES HAVE NEVER BEEN LOWER!

  • +2

I've never heard of this company.

  • A bit confused here, I had my hearing checked before but not with audika, does that mean I’m not eligible for the bonus points?

    • Nvm it’s explained in their faq

“If you are a new client (that is, if you have never received services from Audika or any of its predecessor brands including Western Hearing Services, Adelaide Digital Hearing Solutions, AudioClinic and HearingLife) you earn 1000 bonus Qantas Points when you have a hearing screen or test at any Audika clinic in Australia, by or under the supervision of an Audika staff member. Offer not available to our employees“

      • So if you’ve had your hearing tested before with another business you get 1,000 instead of 3,000?

        • I think they do 3000 instead of 1000 for this promotion.

anyone get a call back? i may have not heard my phone

    • +3

Nope, I cannot hear my phone rings

  • thanks for this, I will try and do this

  • Are these guys legit? I've got an actual referral for a hearing test but these guys are just around the corner plus qantas points is pretty sweet.

  • I just called the free number and booked, had been planning to get the 1000 points but this is better

  • +1

They just called me - took my frequent flyer number over the phone, asked a few other questions and all booked in for tomorrow

  • Did my first hearing testing on 18th Dec 2019
Still did not receive the 1000 points

  • I'm still collecting Qantas points through the Qantas wellbeing app. It syncs with a variety of other apps. I use the German app and it pulls the data through. It's not a huge amount of points but it all adds up towards free flights

  • I am in Qantas Health Insurance, not only is it the cheapest for that level of cover but they give me points on premium and loading, and also 512 points a month for the wellbeing program without a device

  • No one has rang me for more than 3 days since registeration. Have to ring them instead. Hopefully they will be more patience if I keep saying "What did you say? " multiple times.

Got my 3000 points credited today after the test on Friday. Thanks OP!

    • +1

Me too and so did my partner. And I also proved my point - he turned deaf after all! Thanks OP!

  • Got points the day after taking the test. As Darth Vader once said, "All too easy."

    Thanks OP :)

  • Don't want to call you a filthy liar but fact is this is not a deal for 3,000 qantas points. It's for 1,000. Prove me wrong I'll wait.

    • -1

They were offering 3000 points when the deal was posted.
Now it had expired and back to to the original 1000 points.

  • I delayed in making an appointment. If it goes back to 3000 points I will make sure to do it. Thanks anyway OP, great deal.
